I think he again was late with subsitutions and we could have pay gone to extra time if the the goal wasnt disallowed
Why wait until 73 to change Canhanoglu he was crap in second half, we needed vidal asap
And why introduce Dzeko fuk him with his dzeko fetish.
Also sanchez should have been introduced early 60min max with Correa.
Also Perisic should have been off and save him for Roma
And let Lautaro finish the game for god sake.
All in one
VIDAL >CALHANOGLU 60min
Gosens > perisic 60min
Sanchez>Correa 65min
Perisic had his hands on his knees from about the 60th minute. He was exhausted. I was surprised it took so long to change him, especially when the replacement is absolutely top class

When was the last time Sanchez was a consistent starter?
Exactly. whether its injuries, consistency or attitude, sanchez hasn't been deemed worthy to start for years.

Don't be blinded by his one or two nice combinations plays with Lautoro, even under Conte the pairing clicked but rarely delivered.

The point is Dzeko doesn't score enough for the amount of playing time he gets, so no. He isn't delivering.
Depends, what were your expectations for 36 yr old Dzeko beginning of the season?

Dzeko has been walking around like he's on a sunday stroll for years, scoring tap ins, but that's better than Sanchez running around uselessly like a rabid dog chasing its own tail and with little end product to show for it.

I'm far from happy but I've tempered my expectations for now as long as results are there

If we do end up winning the title it will be a bigger success than last season imo. I really, really like Conte, but this season seemed lost last summer and yet we are properly fighting for 2 trophies and CL exit was with dignity, unlike last year. Good job in my book

What I really like about Inzaghi is that he just puts his head down and does the work. There is no drama in the form of salty interviews, veiled comments through the media to management or threats to walk away from the club. Also, he is well grounded and not demanding when it comes to transfers. In some ways, that last point may be a disadvantage when it comes to asking for the players he wants but I guess the most important point is the way he conveys what he wants. Inzaghi does not air things in public and knows that those conversations are best had behind closed doors. Nor does he criticise the players like Conte famously did when he criticised Barella's experience/calibre after an adverse result in the Champions League.

What I most like about Inzaghi is that he is humble and down to earth. He works in silence with minimum fuss and is not self-entitled. Nor does he spend time singing his own praises and virtues.

Given what happened in the summer, there was a lot for him to complain about but he maintained his professionalism. Right now, I feel he is punching above his weight and the best part is that there are still new chapters to be written this season.

FORZA INTER!

Inzaghi certainly strikes me as a great man above all else. Hoping for a good end to the season amd he can finally shed the Limone shit he gets.

This season is so shit from all the possible contenders that I'm totally convinced that if Lukaku stayed, that right now we would be one game away from winning the Scudetto

Yeah, there is big potential a late fuck up for the season is coming. I think Inzaghi did good enough to still be our coach next season, even if he doesn't win the Scudetto.

We'll see what happens, at least it's fun watching our games.

I can't wait to see this thread in the moment we lose the Coppa final and the scudetto 😄
Yeah, these are decisive weeks for Inzaghi.

In the end it's all about the end result. Even if he's a new coach in a Scudetto-winning side which was downsized before the season started, at this point of the season when everything is still on the line, results are expected.

Coppa win but no Scudetto would be a disappointment. Scudetto win but no Coppa would be more than enough. As there's the CL knockout stage done and SuperCoppa already done for Inzaghi.

I feel like an idiot for bashing him a few weeks ago. Please don’t waste this man by selling his best players every year. If we had an actual budget we could build a dynasty with him
He deserves to be bashed just cause fkn Dzeko, we would be 5 1 against Romamerda if Dzeko was benched.

Twice this season his team scored 3 against Roma in Serie A. I can respect that

This was about 55 minutes of quality football that was enough for a 3 1 win. That will do for now

Very good with most of subs today, save for a couple. The gamble of starting Dimarco worked out well.

we're on the verge of a historic season and this thread is still full of incessant moaning and complaining.

there's no such thing as a perfect coach, even Mourinho got it wrong at times. Inzaghi is flawed (dzeko) but he's getting plenty right (brozovic, hakan, skrinair). So how about we focus on some of those positives gentlemen.

We are negative nancies because one bad game could make us lose the title. Everything is on a knife edge right now.

It is easier to write only in positives when we have at least a 3 point advantage

All in all, Inzaghi did really good in his first season.
