It's not respectable to manage neogitations in mid-season with Castelazzi, when a player like Toldo see it.

except for it, I want Toldo will stay, and only if he retire so I want that Belec will be 2nd/3th keeper.
If he retire this season, will be nice that if we will be in Coppa Italia final, he get the captain armband and leave with cup.

You are naive if you think negotitians only start at the end of the season. Branca is talking to different agents and clubs every week. During the transfer market the final dealings get done but the groundwork needs to be done in the season.

It's sure, but do it in public it's not respectable for player like Toldo.
If it was about Quaresma and even Milito (not that I want Milito will leave, just example) it's will be accepted but not for players like Toldo or Capitano for example.

FCInternews.it confirmed the move, it says that Castelazzi move will be confirmed at the end of the season. He signed a two year contract with an option for a third. Is Castelazzi a good move? can somebody answer me how good is Castelazzi please:confused:

He is a good option as a second keeper.

It definitely is, with Toldo aging we need some relatively younger until Viviano hopefully blows up!

Was Julio Cesar good before he came to Inter...I don't know, I certainly hadn't heard of him? Was Frey good when he was at Inter, well maybe, but he became very good afterwards. My point is we can never know how players will do at a big club. So we just have to try and hope we get lucky!

The players to consider are: Castelazzi, Marchetti or Sirigu (Italians), Igor Akinfeev (Russian), Steve Mandanda & Hugo Lloris (French). But we could always just bring Frey back to Inter and send Toldo back to Florence!!!

Yeah I guess Frey won't come back, but I am just nostalgic! I wish we had never sold him for Toldo in the first place. As I never saw the point in selling a younger star, for less money, for an older, more expensive player of the same quality? Anyhow we have being doing much better in our transfer dealings in the past few seasons, apart from the Kaka miss...now him and Ibra really would have been devastating!!!

Frey is a cunt. He won't be missed.

Besides, Julio Cesar is miles better than Frey. So I really don't get your point.

Marchetti is a starter and has Italy caps. Sirigu would be a developmental keeper and we would be forced to move Belec. Akinfeev is a young player starting for CSKA. Mandanda and Lloris are the French national team keepers. There is no way any of these players would accept a move to Inter to sit on the bench. Keeper is the only position where consistency is key. If a keeper is running on good form he does not miss a match. This is why we need Castelazzi. He is experienced enough to make a start once in a while and be ready without the feeling slighted for not being the first choice GK.

It was frey who wanted to leave. He wanted cl football. Thus went to parma since we missed out that season. Ironicly they lost in the qualifiers.

well it seems everyone else hates frey, ohh well. it would have been nice for Gianluca Pagliuca to end his career at inter, which was mentioned a few seasons back. there was also slightly less talk of Angelo Peruzzi coming to be 3rd keeper at one point, but i was never a big fan as he is too much of a Vecchia Signora for my taste?

i still hope we get Castelazzi, Marchetti or Sirigu, it is one of the only parts of the team where we can get italians to play for us. whilst i am all for brazilians and argentines playing for us, it is nice to see the odd italian in the team such as matrix and toldo.

Goalkeeper situation explained.

J.Cesar will stay as the number one. Orlandoni is retiring end of the season and will take a coach role with the inter youth team. Toldo is still deciding, he will only stay if he is second else he will either go abroad or a small italian club where he can play or retire and take a directors role at inter. Castelazzi will either be second or third depends on toldo. Belec will be loaned and viviano will either have the co-ownership renewed or fully bought by inter and then loaned to another team.

If toldo goes we will look for a third choice.
