It does make sense for us to go for a good LB (Criscito/?) and if the management and coach thinks that D.Santon is better to play in the RB and if Santon really is not good for the LB position (and if Benitez is to remain with us and avoid playing him in the LB), then I wouldn't mind letting Santon go on LOAN (only) to Genoa to play as a RB IF it means that we would get Ranocchia.

I also don't think Maicon would stay with us for a long time and if he doesn't want to stay longer with us, then let him go. One can't hold a player against his desire for a long time (despite being under contract). He has been with us for a long time and I understand the fact that sometimes it is good for a player to change clubs and countries.

It would indeed be interesting to have Santon -- Lucio -- Ranocchia -- Criscito/? huh

Not to forget Amelia (provided that he is really that good), if we receive one heck of an offer for J.Cesar in the near future.
It would also shut those NO ITALIANS IN INTER moaners

he's not that good, in VCF he didn't excel, he is ok defensively but not a great player going forward (Chivu anyone?)
