Speaking of a 22 year old. Rakitic isn't signing an extension with Shalcke. I heard he's good but didn't see much of him and I heard we were linked with him not too long ago. Anyone know anything?

Rakitic is clearly overrated...he usually disappoints with Schalke 04. He won't sign extension with Schalke, because Schalke don't plan with him anymore which says it all! A huge NO to him.

But this IF is bigger than Rafa, considering how injury prone they are. Normally I wouldn't go for another CM either, lets just pray for their healthiness.

Inler is better than all of them but Cambiasso and only 26.... so yea I wouldn't mind trading Motta for him anyday of the week

Concur and he's not nearly as sloppy as Thiago really...Plus, he gives a lot more going forward...A terrific two way player that I believe is perfectly suited to the Serie A or even the Premiership

I think his biggest issue is drifting in and out of matches...When he's on, he's a force on both ends...Unfortunately, he also does have a history of disappearing and failing to assert himself - deferring to teammates too much
