I don't think he's ready yet. He has great talent but needs to keep playing because he is a bit inconsistent. In 2 years he will be a very good player but right now he's not ready.

The only reason we didn't loan him out in the first place, was for him to obtain the status of a home grown player..

You're right, but Chievo? I'd rather prefer him at Udinese or a better team, where he can actually fight for his place and will become better. At Chievo he might be a starter for sure, but that's a team that aims to survive almost every season, and I can't understand how that can help him.

He will still have to fight for a place in Chievo, don't think he's a guaranteed starter, especially considering that they have nothing invested in developing him. Hopefully he can carry the team on his shoulders and be the star.
