Back to the same old transfer market drama, well I guess more drama from the media. I'm finding it hard to understand why we would even consider selling Sneijder??? Sell Sneijder and then get another AM? He is one of the best in the world, we are world champions, we won plenty last year, and alot was to do with the master stroke from the management to get him. Why do we need to sell him to other powerful CL challenging teams? The guy has proved himelf at Inter and at International level, has stressed his desire to stay also. Hopefully its all just media nonsense.

Sorry to repeat myself regards the transfer market (ie from last year and Jan), why are we the only team so concerned regards the financial fair play? Did we not win everything we could last year? That surely generated massive revenues across the board. We spent hardly nothing yet now we are world champions who need to sell before we can buy????? Figures do not add up.

If Nasri comes (with Sanchez) and Sneijder leaves then I'll be fine with this painful decision,we would even improve our attack.

I don't agree with that brother.. Wes is our most important player in the squad. He's not only orchestrating the attack, he's also the player that stads between Defence / Offence.. without him, Leonardo wouldn't be able to apply his attacking philosophy. As you've seen the past season, our defence is fragile enough, not because of the system, but because we don't have enough depth in our defensive lines. Thats where CM's come in to the picture. People like Banega... they can reduce the defensive workrate for Sneijder and greatly improve his gameplay by covering for him. As much as I want Sanchez, and trust me.. I'm just as much in love with him like the rest of you, I still rate Wes much higher.

He is AM playmaker, with good passing and vision. He has great radius of movement, and moves a lot, something like sneijder. He can play on the wing, is good at it as well. His speed is decent, and he has great technique which helps him a lot. He never crosse though, always cuts in and tries trough balls to find the strikers... He needs to work on his shooting imho, he rarely shoots from distance, and when he does, he doesnt do that well... He also needs to imrpove his free kicks.

I'm not fond of losing Sneijder and getting Nasri, since i think Nasri is still class below Wes. But if we do lose Sneijder, Nasri would be decent replacement. The only problem i see is his wages which will definitelly be more than 5 mils per year... (he already rejected 100k per week, which is around 5 millions per year...)

Not crossing is a Wenger problem. Back to Inter, I dont think even Eto looked to cross it from outside the box, its not something that cant be changed. I dont mind Nasri, though I admit I have watched him only a handful of times and because of his contractual situation I dont really mind Branca trying for him. Wes, Nasri, Sanchez and Eto is perfect for the way Leo plays.

There's a thread for the financial side of things, but even in our treble year our revenue was still about half that of Real Madrid. In years where we won't win as much, it's even lower. Being world champions does very little to offset our lack of stadium revenue, and lower TV and sponsorship income compared to the top teams in England and Spain.

I won't deny these clear facts but there are some considerations to make and asking these questions:
Will we ever see the same Sneijder that we've seen in 2009/2010?? (although he's only 27 but he did only one season as world class player in all his career)
Do you see Wes really that motivated to stay at Inter (despite his words) after he won anything with us and maybe wants to make a new experience??

Nasri has the quality,he's not a proven world class player yet (just like Sanchez),but I think with the right motivations he could make it here at Inter, and the same goes with Alexis or whatever.

Anyway according to Sky Italia and some english rumours,Nasri could come even if Sneijder will remain.

Black&Blue, ofcourse.. the motivational part always weights in, but as you said.. the guy is 27. In 3 years time he will have the opportunity to play for the Orangees again and by doing so, in the mother of all places (Brazil). He could become a legend, forever in Dutch football. I think I have to go with what Julio Cesar said on this one, motivation is high after a tumulus season, where the players have seen what they can achieve with a bit of consistency. Dropping the key component in that mix wouldn't be good for us. How ever, we need new blood to enforce :) Nasri is great, just not as a Sneijder replacement, to me he is invaluable :)

i agree ... but what about the other fields ?!

IMO in paper it's better to get Nasri than Sanchez cause he can play as a CM, AM and in the wing. Our priority should be the midfield, and with Nasri we may cover with one player two needed positions. We should get another CM (Banega) and 1 DM (Diarra or Fernando) and we're set.

-------Pazzini-------
Nasri----Snj---Eto'o
---Cuchu---Diarra/Banega---
Naga-Samu-Lucio-Maicon
---------JC------------

or

-----Eto'o--Pazzini----
---------Snj---
-Nasri--Cuchu--Banega--
Naga-Samu-Lucio-Maicon

ne sekiraj se pajo izdržače on :D..No worry he will do just fine he is a great player whit great skills..
Robben :star::star:

Of course he is great player, with great skills.. But i don't think he will have success in Italy. Hell, even in Bayern he is half year injured, as he was in RM, can you imagine butcher like Chielini tackling him? :palm:

Great post, I see a whole lot of sense in the idea bro. Pozzos really trying to rape us for Sanchez....this nasri interest could be a smokescreen to try and counter pozzos evil ways.

I love Samir as a player. His flexibility and adaptability as a wide player, trequarista or CM would be immense for us. His technical ability would allow him to slot right in to this league. Immense work rate, great vision and a keen eye for goal... And most importantly, none of this flashy bullshit!

He plays consistently in CM when fab is injured paj... And does a very good job in distributing the ball. Plus he's no slouch in tracking back either.

We should only buy Nasri, if we sell Sneijder. Nasri would only cost €10-15 mill as well, so a huge profit in a economic standpoint. And he's only 23...

Very much so...;)

I'm leaning towards Samir over Sanchez tho tbh. His versatility is second to none. That squad with naga n maic up n down the flanks would mean bbilan zero tituli once again.
