Did you also read $20 million euro. Udinese will lift the trophy this season, no way any of their players will leave for cheap. Teams aren't stupid we aren't going to sell Maicon for $20 then get Isla for $20 who is way younger, faster and better

The 1st first this tournie and they can very well stop being a feeding team. No team is stupid enough to sell all their players after being champions. Just because Inter, Juv, and AC Milan have history doesn't change the fact that Udinese is a better team. As for the feeder club, don't Udinese own Granda in Spains 1st division and Cadiz in Spains 2nd divsion? They loaned like 20 players out to each club

Preziosi (Genoa president) is interested in Chivu.

Pinilla of Palermo is mentioned as a potential signing in January (not likely though).

I would gladly take Montolivo over Kucka. We need a two-way mid, and Monty isn't quite it, but he would provide us some much needed passing range from midfield, and would make a pretty decent midfield alongside Cambi, Motta and Sneijder.

For the longterm I still have high hopes for Poli, but he is one injury layoff (a serious injury) away from being useless to us this year. And at that point we have to decide if we even want to bring him in permanently.

Other than Montolivo, the names I like are Guarin, K. Asamoah, and Moussa Sissoko. Obviously that would mean Kucka stays at Genoa, andwe ask for 50% of Viviano back! :notbad:

I completely agree. Montolivo would've been a great signing in current state. Dude has a quite good passing and he would be an upgrade in our midfield. He also has a decent technique and vision, which would be very useful in our current midfield. On another note, I would like us to sign Farfan too. So, him along with Farfan would've been great signings though.

Montolivo/Poli-Cuchu/Motta as CM-DM sounds good enough for now.

We aren't linked to any of these guys just names we as fans have been throwing out of a hat. Guarin seems to be going to Juventus in Jan for 8 million euro. Vidal-Guarin , my Inter Fifa Midfield. They get Isla or Hummels and would really make me sad.

i wouldnt say better. maicon is a much more dynamic player. i would agree that isla is worth more, his age which gives him huge potential and the fact he is up and coming. but saying he is better than maicon, thats just plain wrong.

No way Maicon is more dynamic than Isla. At their best, no one can be compared to Maicon, but now, at this very moment, Isla is better.

idk, its hard to say that. but i do believe maicon adds more to a team then isla at this moment. anyways... we should have bought half of isla instead of kucka.
