We don't have to have a coach by next game, we can just ask Baresi to take over the squad until we find a suitable replacement.

We should carefully evaluate each coach and hire the most suitable coach who could revive our season. Rushing into decisions with a lack of evaluation like what we did with Gasp would only get us to where we are now.

I'd rather risk one or two games than to risk the entire remaining season, there's simply way too many games yet.

hiring the 5th - 6th choice coach was a rush decision now?

Not a rush decision, but a decision without much of an evaluation.

Obviously, no?

No Milan player
we already rushed to the gasperini solution previously. it doesn't work.

we need a new project and a consistent environment to do this. this time moratti need to choose the coach wisely. a coach that at least can last for 2 season.

i wouldn't say that either, it was like picking the prettiest female body builder, they all kinda look the same and whoever you choose will leave you limp either way

Baresi deserves a shot... Make him Caretaker. In January Tevez on loan. Come June, welcome back Jose and Build a future. The dream...

I miss the special one :(

My choices (Ranked in preference)

1. Ancelotti (would be ideal, but realistically not gonna happen)
2. Zenga - Why not give him a shot? He's respected by the Inter community, he's young, has hunger, and its guaranteed that he will put his heart into the job.
3. Baresi - Deserves a shot for the work he's put into the club, had a lot of experience with Mou.
3. Figo - Young, experience watching Mou, and has a great relationship with our players.
4. Ranieri - He's the favorite for the job right now, I would be pretty disappointed if we get him over the other candidates, but not as disappointed than if we kept Assperini.

Shouldnt we keep it open the whole season like we do with the other rumour threads? what if Gasp gets sacked?

Domenico, your are an absolute legend ! Posting that this thread should remain open in the event Gasp is sacked way back in June !

Now, can you please tell me next weeks lottery numbers :D

SE SALTELLI....
Should have signed pelligrini when we had the chance...Now I think it best if we get lele oriali back into the fold of things, and use bepe as a caretaker till someone decent comes around.

I am not a big fan of ranieri, but he is one guy who knows how to stabilized a capsizing ship :D Look at what he did for both Juventus and Roma.
Its ok I think for Inter to hire him for one season and next year carefully select one permanent head coach!!

Although, if possible I would like Spalletti or Ancelotti as our coach. Ancelotti's diamond will be the perfect system for Inter considering we have Sneijder and Cambiaso in the midfield.

Baresi coudnt even motivate our players when Mou was in the stands during the treble season. So that is a big no. We need motivators.

Totally agree with you, Figo or even Materazzi will be better at motivating. Seeing how we play in the last 3 games, its our mentality that is lost. We need someone who can put fire into Inter's belly again.

Materazzi? :yao: That's gotta be the craziest suggestion I ever heard here. Just cause he celebrates with other players after each goal doesn't mean he's a good motivator. He also has weird things going in his head to be a coach.

I agree with this lets save this season with Ranieri and then bring in a permanent solution, thats the best option right now. Ancelotti has been on Moratti's mind for some time but the BBilanista has said no.
