it has to do with buying players while theyre suffering a temporary bad form, so we dont pay out of our asses. cause all i hear is ffp ffp ffp, well we have a chance to sign a top class player, in a position we need, for a cheap price and decent wages, just because his circumstances, not him himself, are unfortunate.

Liverpool lost 3-1 at home to Aston Villa :palm: . Theres no way hes going to be there next year. we might even get him for 7-8 mill if were lucky.

The only question we should ask (in terms of abilities) is whether or not a player could be a plus to our current squad.
Do we even have a slightest chance of signing either of them? If so, we would be damn lucky to have either of them or
any other players half the skills they have. Just take a look at the list of CMs we are regularly playing (playable) at the moment...

Gargano, Cambiasso, ZANETTI, and Guarin (who is playing almost an AM-ish role these days)
Looking at this list I can see just about any mediocre CM making an impact in our midfield.

Anyway, I'm glad at least we're in a general agreement here. We desperately need a deep lying CM in this squad.
This whole counter attacking team we have become this season is quite embarrassing.
It's really a lame excuse for not having a single properly skilled CM who can set the tempo and build up a play from our own third.

There are shit loads of proven CMs with moderate price tags around Europe (I'm lately pushing for Esteban Granero)
yet we are talking about/linked with some unrealistic stuff :palm:

thing is we only need a half decent CMF, that is, if we can't afford it. Fact is we've gone this far without one, all we need is someone who can string a few passesand hold possession and we're good to go. at least that will get us by in serie a. Europe I'm not to sure. So whether its an ouf-of-form Sahin or inexperienced Veratti, I'm game but again, I'm 100% for Banega.

Im still waiting for Sahin. He wont stay at the struggling Liverpool, or be on the bench at Real Madrid.

And its not like this is out of the blue, we've been linked with him heavily in the past year. Inter even talked with his agent, it's just he decided to opt for the Liverpool loan option because of Xabi Alonso.

Come the end of the year we'll be heavily linked with him again, whether we actually buy him is another story.

It's more than just personnell, it's also the way we play. Getting that one player won't fix anything if we don't change the way we play.

true but that won't change overnight or in 1 season. our brand of football is too ingrained in our footballing psyche. What I mean is even a Tino Costa here at Inter would make a massive difference.

you'd be surprised how much a player can change an entire team. some players make everyone around them better. I remember after mou left, every time thiago motta was injured we were shit, when he came back we were on top. When he left there was a huge hole in midfield, needing to be filled, begging to be filled. with ky jelly.

We need to bench Zanetti and Cambiasso. Put anyone else and our passing would go up a notch. Sign a good midfielder and it would go up another notch. But instead you buy Xavi and Iniesta and play them with Zanetti and Cambiasso, and see how poor our total passing is.

Oh guys come on, this whole situation is part of our managements plan..

Our vice-Milito will be Longo, our new midfielder will be Sneijder. Win-win.

Cuchu isn't a bad passer himself. He's probably the best of our midfielders tbh (not counting Sneijder) But then again who doesn't look good passer in comparison to Gargano and Zanetti who routinely give the ball away and generally don't add much skill to our midfield.

Zanetti actually NEVER gives the ball away but it's because he doesn't want it. You can see he is not comfortable receiving the ball especially in the middle of the field. He will usually point to whom he would rather you play the ball to. When he does get the ball he makes the safest pass which is usually back to Rano or Handanovic. Or he dribbles his way out of trouble.

We have been saying we can't use Zanetti and Cambiasso together in the midfield for years. Yet we still see it and in one of our biggest games. Why? Because Strama has no choice. He must play Zanetti every single league game. If we play him at RB or RWB. Than we look like idiots for spending so much money on Periera or sitting our most in for fullback in Nagatomo. So he gets stuck in the midfield by default. Drop Guarin deeper and play an actual AM and we will automatically hold possession better. Will we be good at holding possession? No because we'll still have Gargano as the broken link in the chain, not to mention Cassano who is quickly becoming a turnover machine. However, we will at least string a couple passes.

Paulinho or DLP either way we are heading in the right general direction.

Pastore: "Milan is a magical club. First I want to win with PSG, but after that I will wear the Milan shirt."

Pastore: "Sooner or later I will wear the Milan shirt. I'm certain of that."

Pastore: "I have a splendid relation with Galliani and Braida. We always have lunch at a secret location when I’m in Milano."

Pastore: "I love Italy and I really miss living there, but I want to win something with PSG before I return."

Fuck off :(
