Pride will also stop Lampard from accepting a wage which is about one third of what he currently earns at Chelsea. Lets see what wages he earns this summer, my guess is that it would be about DOUBLE of that 2m you want Inter to offer.

I am saying that LAZIO are supposedly offering him £2m and that surely we can afford £2m so on that basis, if somehow, he does end up at Lazio it will be very frustrating. If we can match that offer, what is the harm in trying to sign him. I'm not suggesting that we break the bank to get him, just merely that we could miss out on a good players because we are not willing to make an offer.

I dont watch the prem that much anymore. Think ive caught two games all season. Doesnt mean im not aware of th happenings or keep an eye on the scoreline. Also doesnt mean i like it. I keep an eye on the scoreline for novara, livorno, juve stabia, cittadella, espanyol, and a lot of other teams too.
