Yep, we probably need to find two new wingbacks for Mazzarri's system to work properly.

Not entirely Fitz, Just need to have 'whoever' he plays there to play it right. If you seen Napoli's wing backs, individually they aren't world beaters and definately not overly classy players but they played the roles right and very well. That's for the manager to define.

I think that Tom Huddlestone would be a boss in Serie A. The fact that the tempo is slower than the Prem, his strength and his passing ability would make him an absolute sicko in midfield with Guarin and Kovacic.

Of course it depends on how they play their roles, but Maggio for example is just a gun player, imo.

I think he lacks a bit of self-discipline for the position as defensive midfielder. But in our position now, he would be an improvement for sure.

Yeah, Spurs have chosen Sandro over Huddlestone too. I only mention him because in recent years we keep getting linked with transfers to and from spurs and now they've made him available for transfer, I don't think any decent prem clubs will be looking at him so for us he would be great as either a DM or as a Sweeper in the 3-5-2 next season.

I get your point and I think that your suggestion could be interesting,but I guess that we need to look at more Serie A experienced players than foreigner players that might look decent on the paper and then could fail miserably (except only if this kind of player is a young talent like Kovacic) since we can't buy the top players from outside,plus we should always consider that english players rarely adapt well in Italy (we had Paul Ince that played 2 good seasons for us in the '90s,but he was a player on another level than Huddlestone),that's why I wish that we could buy a player like Nainggolan this time....
