It seems that Inter is waiting Facundo Colidio to turn 18 years old to register him but the player is already training with Inter (the player in pink). Inter bought the Argentine striker for €6m from Boca Juniors this summer and the player came in August to get Italian (EU) passport.

Inter target Rabiot deal?

Inter are reportedly targeting a future deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

According to Calciomercato.com, it comes after Inter director Walter Sabatini tried to sign Rabiot for Roma three years ago.

However, on that occasion, Sabatini would have failed to convince then-Coach Rudi Garcia into building his Giallorossi side around the 22-year-old.

Rabiot consequently extended his contract with PSG until 2019, but the website claims the Italian has reignited his interest in the player.

Furthermore, he is also “one of the favourite names” for Inter’s board and sporting director Piero Ausilio, although a deal can only be struck if the starlet does not renew at Parc des Princes.

For that to happen, L’Equipe explains Rabiot must be playing in his correct position, on the left of central midfield, and that PSG need to sign a new defensive midfielder.

I don't see that happening at all and even if it was possible I reckon it would be for a very high proce, which, especially considering other positions we need to strenghten, is not worth it.

Nah, we are good at right wing now with Candreva, Karamoh and even Cancelo. Lets see how they do first. We need to focus our entire January budget on a quality CB, and maybe if there is any money left then a ball playing DM.

We can review the RW situation next summer, specially if some of our new buys don't work out. IMO Lucas is not an upgrade on Candreva, if we are in the CL we need to go after a top winner like Mane or Sanchez.

I think more than a DM, we need a goalscoring midfielder. Currently our best goalscoring midfielder is Brozovic which is laughable.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of pure DMs. If you have good box-to-box midfielders they should be able to do DM's job.

Go for a goalscoring midfielder and try to teach Gagliardini and Vecino to defend better.

Pure DMs are obsolete in today's game.

Mourinho's love for Ozil to be tested by Inter in January

As reports from the UK today suggest that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has targeted Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil for January, comes news from Italy that Inter Milan are also considering a move for the German international who is out of contract at The Gunners at the end of the season.

With no contract renewal in sight, it seems inevitable that the 28-year-old will depart North London next year and The Mirror today claims that Mourinho is on the case having been in charge of the player during his time at Real Madrid.

German journal Bild has reported that Ozil is keen on joining United but that the Nerazzurri are also looking to try to add the player to their roster but there is one huge stumbling block and that’s his salary demands. Ozil currently earns around €9M-a-season and has no intention in taking a pay cut to move away from the Emirates Stadium.

Inter are unable to compete with United right now but owners Suning could look for more investment ahead of January to be able to challenge the Red Devils for the mercurial German star.

9M a season should be gross. which in UK would be close to 5M net.

Ozil is quality and still creates most chances than any player. Problem is Wenger doesn't have a clue on how to use him or set up team. Also Ozil is attacking player who is one of the best playmaker in the league, criticizing him for defensive issues is like blaming CB for lack of attacking threat.

Ozil shouldn't in the box to defend for corners, he should be outside the box to collect loose ball and set up the counter attack. Any team that signs him will have a quality player in hand, provided coach knows how to set up the team.

Hopefully Jose signs him, if not hopefully Inter signs him.

If we can get to the CL, ozil is a dream come true. One of the last pure #10 CAMs out there. Despite his conditioning and general laziness, he is so talented that you take the hit and load up on hard working players in the mid that can otherwise cover his deficiencies - and I think vecino and gags can both do that.

I don't think he will come here - but if we can lock up CL, our club becomes insanely more attractive to these types of players.

I'd take rabiot in a heartbeat - one of him or goretzka should be hunted by inter incessantly.
