Well, it's no good to us if we work things out with the team and then find out the player's already been convinced by somebody else.

Plus, this could be a tactic to get the player to convince the team to let him go once he agrees with the offer.

They can tutor our young core and help us qualify for the next 3 years.
But we still need world class RW though to replace candreva, someone like fekir, or we can try draxler and move perisic to the right

And we need to secure the likes of lunin and barrow

We have starting spot and CL to offer, so dont settle for mediocre players like in the past 6 years

I prefere Nainggolan, 30mil for injury prone with one year contract for dembele is too much let alone he need adapting with new league and new tactic. Just granted Spalletti wishes and done with seeking alternatif since it never ended well for ours.

On the other hand, Nainggolan had a very poor season. A shell of the player he was just a season ago. I do. It's not about which one i prefer in a certain position. I just consider unwise to spend 60m or more on two 30+ players we'll have to replace in 2-3 years from now even if they succeed at Inter..

Lautaro is a kid who will squeez out Nainggolan one day... Ok not the same type of player
He is a SS while Nainggolan is an AM. Lautaro ain't a CF like Icardi in my book.
We had Borja/Rafi start as AM and then we introduced Eder as SS when we needed more attacking approach
Gags eventually squeezing out Dembele with time...
We need depth anyway with another hard competition

This is the most exciting deal for me so far, I doubt it goes through but at the very least we're jumping on the opportunity early.

I think the luck is only one side of the coin. The pre-season and the way how Spalletti manages the players are also important here.

I dropped by to Tottenham's forum and their fans rate him as a player for big games. If this is true he could be very useful in CL and in derbies in Italy. I don't think that his age is big issue as he can rotate Gags with and has fuel enough for important games.

I am torn on Dembele signing.

At the plus side, he is the real quality in midfield. He is athletic yet silky on the ball. He glides his opponents like they are nothing regularly. I also don't think his injury record is as bad as people perceive him to be. Based on https://www.transfermarkt.com/mousa-dembele/verletzungen/spieler/19368, he was only injured 33 days in the last season and his recent injury record is good. He is also cheaper than Nainggolan or any other top proven midfielders.

At the negative side, we should be cautious and ensure he must have at least 2 good years ahead. He is 31 years old now and his physicality is his important trait. He will not able to run past midfielders with slow leg no matter how good his touch is. Furthermore, his inaptitude to score goal is also concerning. We saw it at the last season that we can only score from Icardi, Icardi, and Perisic. If we add another goalless midfielder, I am afraid we will rely too heavily on Icardi again unless we sign winger that can score.

Dembele...controls the midfield,do you know what this means?! He doesn't have to score goals,he can hold the possession so we dominate,when the opposition doesn't have the ball,it means you can do more,score more....his advancing up the pitch is sick!

IF HE IS GOOD ENOUGH for fast paced EPL he is good enough for Serie A,which's tempo is much slower.

my friend went (a Chelsea fan,he plays football for my local club,he coaches kids,has a licence,knows tactics better than me for sure) went to London and saw him play live...he says he is a top midfielder!

I'd get him yesterday as age is just a number,the quality is the real deal
