any news from a full-back? I think the most important position that we need is full-back. I often wonder why we are not interested in a world class full-back like David Alaba?

there are rumors that we can get either Emerson Royal or Nelson Semedo as a counterpart in Lautaro deal. Our right wing-back would be set. Emerson seems to be highly rated by his last season in Real Betis, while Semedo is well-known high quality player. The Brazilian is bigger unknown, but can have a lot of potential and his contract would be much lower.

There was actually a (weak) rumour about Alaba but there's no chance of that happening. There are no new rumours about fullbacks. It seems we have focused on Tonali.

Even a rumor about a three team trade mentioned by CdS today. Lautaro to Barca, Semedo to City, Cancelo to Inter.

They should have just continue with their "logical" conclusions... cancelo to inter, in that case candreva back to lazio, then lazio selling their wingback or someone in midfield to accommodate candreva and so on... These domino effect transfers almost never happen the way these journalists are writing about them...:D

Noted Italian Journalist Pedulla: “Inter Haven’t Spoken To Brescia About Tonali, Lautaro Will Only Leave Inter For Barcelona”

Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla has dismissed reports in the media which have suggested that Inter have made contact with Brescia regarding Sandro Tonali and his representatives.

Inter are long term admirers of the 20-year-old central midfielder and reports in the past few days that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has made contact but Pedulla has insisted that this is not the case.

“Juventus moved before Inter. The Bianconeri wanted to close a deal in January whilst Inter have never spoken to Cellino. They are the only clubs left, it’s up to the boy to decide his future,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Italia late last night.

Pedulla proceeded to discuss Lautaro Martinez’s future with Inter amid ongoing links over a potential Summer transfer window switch to reigning La Liga champions Barcelona.

“There is only Barcelona. There has been talk of Paris Saint-Germain, but his dream is to play with Messi and he will only leave Inter for the Catalans.

“He has received a €12 million a year offer from the Blaugrana and the agreements have already been finalised. At this moment there are no contacts between Lautaro and Inter.

“The Catalans will not pay his €111 million release clause, but if it came to an offer of €80/90 million plus Vidal things would change.”

Lautaro has been in fine form this season, his first as a starter for Inter, with him having netted 16 goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions to date, during which time he has also struck up a promising partnership with Romelu Lukaku.

I keep saying this, but Pedulla is only good for anything revolving around Sarri these days.

Saying that, he did pip Di Marzio to announcing Eriksen to us by a couple of hours, so who knows.

It's not the most problem position, we have Perisic, Dalbert, Asamoah, Dimarco and Young on it
The most problematic is the backup forward, We can easily solve this problem by buying Obama for 45mln. and Inter will definitely be stronger than last season.

FC Porto Winger Jesus Corona’s Agent: “We’ve Been Contacted By Many Clubs Including Inter”

Matias Bunge, the agent of FC Porto and Mexico attacker Jesus Corona, has revealed that several teams have contacted him in the past few months regarding the availability of his client, including Inter, ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“At the moment there are no open negotiations but I can say that we have been contacted by Inter. In fact, other important clubs, from Spain and England, have also contacted us,” Bunge admitted in an interview with Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, which appeared in today’s print edition.

“All of this happened before the explosion of the Coronavirus pandemic. Now, the teams have to reorganise themselves and then make decisions.”

The 27-year-old has been with his current employers since the Summer of 2015 and he has since went on to make 211 appearances across all competitions to date for them, in which he has scored 26 goals and tallied 51 assists.

The former FC Twente player has been virtually ever present for the Liga NOS side this term with him having appeared in all barring four of their 45 games played to date.

In his 41 appearances this term, Corona, who has a contract with FC Porto until 2022, has scored two goals and provided a total of 17 assists for his teammates.

Inter Refuse To Pay Barcelona More Than €10M For Arturo Vidal

Inter do not want to spend anything over €10 million to sign Arturo Vidal from Barcelona in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Vidal has been strongly linked with a move to Inter and reports have suggested that Barcelona would like to include him in a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez but the Nerazzurri would rather do a separate deal for the Chilean national team player.

Inter management are willing to satisfy the demands of manager Antonio Conte who wants to be reunited with the 32-year-old but are unwilling to meet Barcelona’s €20 million demands for him given he will have just a year left on his deal come this Summer.

The report goes on to explain that Inter want to spend no more than between €8-10 million on him and adds that there will be no stumbling block when it comes to his salary.

Vidal previously accepted a two and a half year deal worth €5.5 million a year from Inter back in January prior to talks between the clubs breaking down and Inter’s offer will now be €6 million a year for two years.

Imagine if we'd have just signed him instead of Keita 2 years ago. Sigh.

Barcelona will give in as Lautaro is a specific target. Aside from them, no team at the the moment can turn lautaro into a world class player as quickly as Barcelona and we have the ideal situation to make them overpay.

Inter & Juventus Both Present Brescia With Offers Worth €35M For Midfielder Sandro Tonali

Juventus have matched the offer that Inter have made to Brescia for highly rated midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Both clubs have offered a deal worth €35 million up front with a potential further €5 million in bonuses but the report explains that both clubs wish to use different formulas.

Inter would like to take him on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of next season and could also throw in more bonuses and a young player.

Juventus would also like to take him on loan with an obligation to buy but rather than buy him at the end of next season they want to buy him at the end of the season after that.

For the time being, Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino continues to demand €50 million for Tonali, who has also drawn links to Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona and Manchester City in recent months.
