If we already had someone who scores consistently and could afford such a luxury financially, by all means worth a gamble. Like this, I'm uneasy about it tbh.

The risk is too high for my liking. We need to rebuild with young talent, with good reliability history and most importantly with an emphasis on quickness. Dybala would be a hail mary signing. You would think at 28 he still has some football in him, but you definitely don’t know for sure. Plenty of great players have had short careers due to injury problems.

The irrational part of me wants to sign him tomorrow to spite Juve. The rational part of me says this doesn't end well for us.
Same. The more i read from Juve sources the more i believe the guy would be super motivated and would give his all at Inter to prove Juve management wrong. But the risk is simply too high. Not worth it.

Sky reports that Inter is very unlikely as an option for Dybala.

I can totally see that for two reasons, combining them two makes the unlikeliness credible. First, can we offer him big enough salary for real? Second, would he move from Juve, where' he's a vice-captain, spent 7 years there, to Inter? I don't think contract negotiations wipes away the history in his mind and he wants to shit on that by signing with Inter as a revenge.

This looks more and more like Juve wanted to make the shift from Dybala-centric Juve to somewhere else. And the solution was Vlahovic-centric Juve. They couldn't offer Dybala the money the player wants after they signed Vlahovic and they knew it already in January.

I don't think we can offer Dybala that money either. Club like PSG can offer 5x 7.5M to him. City too but dunno if he fits there.

Depends on what the economic situation is in the mercato. If we are again very limited then definitely no. If we are in a good position then sure.

We could always sell Lautaro to accommodate Dybala... Sanchez is probably leaving one way or another and we're probably going to cancel Dzeko's contract if he keeps playing this way.

Watch us pay 10m per year for Dybala while Scamacca goes to Milan and becomes the next Luca Toni. So to retaliate we spend 40m on Duvan Zapata who doesn't perform in two years and then is loaned back to Sampdoria
Imo we could consider Inter as a fool if they give €40M for Zapata, no one wants pay €40M for a 31+ player let alone a decline one.

Biasin says Marotta will make an attempt for Dybala but within the financial parameters of the club.

He also says Lukaku has made it clear to Marotta he's willing to take a paycut to return but this isn't enough by itself.

I love Dybala's style of play, but this is one opportunity we should pass imo

I saw a poll about it on twitter so i am curious how FIF sees it. If the choice for our attack was Dybala or Lukaku, which one would you prefer?

Hard and interesting question because they are 2 totally different players. But for how our squad looks right now we need a striker more than we need a player like Dybala.

I would love them both if the terms are favorable.(probably not so it would be a dream).

I do not want Inter to sign old/injury prone players with huge wages.

Sanchez and Vidal are good cases on point. Their wages do not match their output. Sanchez may have done enough last season but this season, his performances have declined. Vidal has been a liability and past it since he first arrived and his inability to play at a top level grows with every passing season.

In terms of injured players, look at Correa. What has he contributed other than disappointment this season?

Dybala does not fit into the former category of players (Sanchez and Vidal) but is closer to a Correa type player. My concern is that we agree to pay him high wages and we get stuck with a player that plays very little due to injury.

This season, with Correa's injuries, has taught us that Inter not only needs to have adequate backup strikers but they also need to be fit to play and contribute. Having a player that is injury prone like Correa or can not make a contribution like Caicedo is the equivalent of not having a player whatsoever.

Wtihout much thinking Lukaku. Mainly because unknown fitness issues with Dybala, we could end up with another high wage bench warmer guy.

Can't decide if I don't know other stuff too.

- who is going out?
- will it depend on who is going out which one can be signed?
- financial parameters of these two possible transactions?
- what is the overall budget ie. what else can be signed?
