It's pretty clear there is a salary cap by the Milan ownership. And if they want to keep their star players, they need to break that cap. Donnarumma would have broken it, Zlatan broke it (but the contract was one year). Now they need to decide will they break it for Kessie.

If they decide against breaking the cap, it will pinpoint that Milan (their owners) aren't in it for real. Their business is not to win the Scudetto for real. Of course they can win it by chance, but to build towards that, you need to put the money on the table. Losing Kessie would mean they'd be banking on Tonali and kind of "starting over". Tonali can't carry them yet, at least not like Kessie did last season.

Lotito wants to sell him as he's not in Sarri's plans, and with Luis Alberto liking a comment or post that was against Sarri, I think he is definitely for sale. The issue wouldn't be Lotito as we will be offering Hakan + money for Luis Alberto, the issue would be why would Hakan accept to leave to Lazio and take a wage cut imo. Lazio will not going to pay him 5m net a year.

No problem, give them G5 or Vecino or Sensi, or all three. There's a solution if we look hard enough.

Yeah no way we are going to get rid of the Turkish Ghost now. Terrible decision to sign this guy.

I'd pay him 10M to leave if it means getting Alberto.

Some Italian Paper say we interested to swap Calhanoglu with Luiz Alberto.

Lol.. could Lolito accept this ?
The only realistic swap deal about him might be with a German club. At least he's a German product. Apart from Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund I believe that some Bundesliga 1 clubs could accept him even despite his absurd wage.

Not a chance. Lotito doesn't accept swap deals for his players. He only cares about money. He's probably going to ask for 40-50m for Luis Alberto. The Spaniard has a contract with Lazio till 2025 and there's nothing he can do to force Lotito's hand.

I get the rationale behind this post but a return to Bundesliga for Hakan isn't realistic. Only Bayern and Dortmund can afford his wage and they certainly don't need him. Hakan is here to stay.

Shit, I wish we wanted Renato Sanches, that would be so fucking great Renato Sanches and Nicola Barella in the center, also Nahitan Nandez on the right, eh, dreamy-dreamy.

I've watched few games of Cagliari this season, and I'm not impressed with Nandez at all. Don't understand this hype about him.

They are both hardworking players, like Barella, Lautaro and Skriniar. Mario had nothing to do with this.

You're not supposed to be impressed by such players.

Inter's real problem is we have no depth: one of the midfielders is essentially gone, others always hurt , the rest really not particularly good . We need to unload before we can buy, then we have some who wll return from loans. Its a quagmire, Inter simply doesn't have economic strength to clean the stables quickly.

I like him, very good rotational player, stamina, fitness, pressing, tackling, positioning, he's a fighter on the pitch. Fo sho he can contribute more than G5 and Vecino.

We don't need a rotation though. We need a starter and push Hakan to the rotation role.

Especially not at Giulini's asking price...36m for Nandez.

But his rumored price was 30+mln, which is too much for such a player. I'd rather try to take Castrovilli instead.
Bonaventura is also great rotation but short term option. It's shame that we missed him, when he was free agent.
