Enough with the Kessies and Dybalas, I can't believe that no one has pointed out that Bernardeschi's contract is expiring. Cheap, versatile, (used to be) talented but underperforming, out of nowhere, fuck if there's one player for Marotta to add to his long list of Darmians and De Sciglios, it has to be Bernardeschi.

If I had to bet my house on a transfer, Bernardeschi would be the one, not Scamacca, Frattesi and definitely not Kessie. Can be our next Darmian though (or Kolarov).
Inter wants Cuadrado not Bernadeschi, also Bernadeschi is garbage bin.

I want us to stay away from Kessie at all costs. We might aswell give a new contract to Vecino.

He wants 7-8M net, lets not build our wage budget over the limit recklessly after suffering so many years because of it.

Kessie rumour is just bs from Gazzetta. He's unrealistic for 3 reasons:

  1. He has reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona
  2. Inter would have to break their wage bill structure to satisfy Kessie demands. No chance we make Kessie Inter's highest paid player
  3. I see no place for him in the starting lineup. The times we spent 6-7m net/year for bench options are over.

As for Bernardeschi, how exactly is he cheap? He currently earns 4m net and he's asking for the same salary in order to extend with Juve.

Guys, these players have agents. These agents are assholes. The media will play anything that remotely sounds like an option. Agents use the media. Media use the agents.

There may be fire under this smoke, but usually with expiring contracts agents contact media to make it appear that they're sought after and garner more interest or force teams to cave in their demands.

Team directors usually speak with each other, some are friends. Some media reporters know these friendships or relationships, most do not. If someone is going to report that Inter made a bid for Raspadori [let's assume he's expiring] for example, our directors have a working relation since the Politano loan deal, they'll know it's crap. If it's between Inter and Milan, sure these guys know each other but the relationship is professional so it's gonna be the standard "I can neither confirm nor deny" kind of responses going between the parties.

It's typical media garbage, don't fall for everything.

P.S: I used to love Bernardeschi and think he was a bigger talent than Chiesa but he ruined his career after he moved to Juventus. They only snatched him to eliminate competitiveness in the league anyway, he was supposed to be Salah's replacement at Roma (They also tried to get Mahrez later) but they spent a shitload of money to make him unattainable for everyone else.
I don't see space for him with our team and system, he has a role to play for Milan, Napoli, Roma and Lazio though. But he's gonna end up abroad imo, yet another poor career choice.

Kessie with 7+mln salary and agent's fee + signing bonus will be the most stupid thing done by Marotta so far.
Did that same as Vecino + Sensi + Vidal salary?

Frattesi + Kessie salary same as Vecino + Sensi + VIdal or not ?

Maybe, but why to give so much to the player, who will be rotational at best? You have to add at least 10mln more in agents fee and bonuses as I mentioned. I'm also not so convinced in Kessi's quality. He has bloomed after Pioli took over Milan. I remember that during his time here, Kondogbia and 5G.looked pretty decent as well.
The only scenario where Kessie makes sense is if Barella gets sold.

If Inter offers anything to Kessie, it won't be 7m€ or more. Maybe 5m€ + heavy bonuses. But I doubt it. Marotta may try how hard Kessie wants to stay in Italy. If he gets better offers from EPL and he will, it's up to the player to decide. Of course we won't compete with EPL clubs over his signature, it's up to the player to decide what he wants to do.

I also don't see Kessie a great fit to Inter because not sure if he copes as mezzala too well even though for a DM he's pretty good going forward. He would be too expensive to be bench player so at max some kind of rotational player which then raises the question, why would he pick Inter with lower salary when he can be a starter in EPL club with higher salary?

I don't like Kessie. Especially if he wants a lot of money. I have a feeling that once he receives big check, he will lack motivation. It is always a risk giving players big money. It is about psychological aspect of human motivation. Money replace inner motivation.

Kessie needs to have a word with himself if he really wants 8 million per season. No one's gonna give him that much. Or if anyone wants to, they should go for it, just hopefully not Inter.

If only Barella wasn't suspended for both legs vs Liverpool I wouldn't be so anxious for Inter to sign a midfielder now.

The way it is now, we have guaranteed 180 mins of one of Vidal, Vecino or Gaglia (or some combination of them) for one position.

It's slowly dawning on me that we're monumentally fucked.

CDS says we’re going to try for Frattesi before the Jan window closes.

I give it less than 0.1% chance happening, but if it does then this is an unreal Beppe masterclass.

To force buying a new midfielder just to marginally improve our already slim chances vs Liverpool doesn't seem like a prudent thing to do.

Even if they do sign someone what are his chances of integrating and contributing in just a few weeks time? I bet even if Frattesi comes Inzaghi will start Vidal.

Frattesi is bound to come sooner or later, he's the obvious name for midfield. So if we would manage to get him in January, even better.

But similarly, what if one of the midfield 3 gets injured/COVID? Then we’re stuck playing Vidal/Gags/Vecino for minimum 2 games.

A midfielder would be a pretty prudent thing, even without Barella’s suspension in the CL.
