Coutinho would have to take a massive paycut (Barcelona maybe paying part of it) to join Inter. He'd be like Sanchez, joining to be as substitute player by default. Really not sure do we have a proper spot for him in Inzaghi's system. Some kind of Correa alike in terms of free role? I don't see them being quite the same type of players.

Where would he play?

If Inzaghi continues the 352 then my guess would be in Luis Alberto’s spot, probably how he would have used Eriksen alongside Brozovic and Barella, but we don’t know when he’ll be back on the pitch unfortunately. Either that or in some free role as a sub. He’s still capable of producing magic at anytime, if he’s willing to take a paycut I’d want him any day of the week.

We'll be broke next summer as well, so he's not staying.

Pedulla - Inter is interested in Kessie and will try to ''steal'' him if he doesnt renew with Milan, who is offering him 4M, while Kessie wants 5.5M.

Kessie would be targeted only as a free agent. So it doesn't go well with Brozovic unless we decide to let him go for free. That would be a huge risk on the other hand since all the other teams can negotiate with Kessie (throw offers) too in January (well, earlier too as we are doing now )

But I'd definitely pay 5.5m€ to Kessie immediately if that would secure his signing.

While Kessie would make a lot of sense under Conte i don't think it would work under Inzaghi. A midfield trio of Brozovic - Barella - Kessie would lack in creativity big time. Unlike Conte, Inzaghi likes using a playmaker. Kessie could only work if we switched to 4-3-1-2 but that's unlikely.

If we sell Brozo, Kessie would be amazing.

Who's gonna play regista? Barella and Kessie can't play in the role. If you sold Brozovic you would need to find a replacement, with or without Kessie.

No one is suggesting Barella-Brozo-Kessie midfield.

It would be obviously Barella-Kessie-Calhanoglu. Kessie is better than Lucas Leiva as a defensive midfielder and Inzaghi didn't have a pure regista role in Lazio. We would obviously play differently with Kessie than with Brozovic.

But Kessie isn't a DM. He's a box to box. Putting him in front of defence would negate his strengths.

Kessie imo is the all around best milan player, but it ain't gonna happen after the hakan saga. If they decide to sell him on a discount, it ain't gonna be us.

Yes still raw and young but still looking very promising and would be good sub for Brozo?

I remember just last summer people was so angry to Marotta to losing him to Milan and he was called ”generational talent”.

Now it would be perfect time to go after him cause there is not that much of hype and Brescia is in Serie B.

I think Tonali and Barella would be good duo for many years to come.

exactly what I’ve been thinking... although I would be for Kessie if it’s on a free. The idea of poaching 2 of Milan’s better players for 0 Euros is pretty funny to me.
