Not sure how well received Retegui is here, but I like him as a partner to Toro. He can be a pest when pressing, pretty versatile in attack, and being kind of mediocre, it puts him right in line with our budget. Could well be one of those players who surprises and becomes a fan favourite.

Yeah and he seems to have that hunch for a goal, for that little we saw from Italy NT matches.

That sounds amazing, but it's still too soon to believe in reports like these.

That tells me Lautaro/agent has told the club he's going absolutely nowhere.

But I like the revolution part.

Aaaaaand in the end Lukaku will stay on loan, Dzeko gets a 5million year deal and there's absolutely none interest even from pub teams for the "footballer" Correa so he'll stay.

The first step is not extending Dzeko. That's the easy part. I could see them going for Scamacca or that Retegui kid to replace him.

I fear they will try to keep Lukaku in order not to make too many changes. It would be typical Marotta who isn't a fan of "revolutions".

Then of course it's the issue of Correa which is the most complicated by far. Offloading him in order to sign another forward is easier sai than done.

If Lukaku and Džeko stay for one more year, I might just ignore the next season. Not that I have anything against Lukaku, I just want us to take risks and really commit to find new, cheaper solutions. Džeko and Lukaku together are paid too much.

I'm this close to pulling the trigger and getting a season ticket again but if they keep Lukaku I have no reason to do so. Saves me money and peace of mind.

really hope we switch to a system with wingers

maybe a trequartista as well,

LW-----Lautaro-----RW
-----------AM-----------
-----Calha---Barella----

not sure who the wingers should be but ill take Baldanzi at AM and keep Carboni as a sub for him

How about we bring in adequate players for this formation? We only need consistency.

Our formation is great. We are in short of a couple quality additions in the starting line-up and also a few decent backups and we are set.

I like 352 a lot. If we could miraculously re-sign Hakimi and bring in a proper striker to play alongside Lautaro then we would have been far more competitive than we are. Limone has managed to turn things around quite well over the recent times, so I think he deserves proper players to play his game. Unless we plan to sell our players, then I can see our team pulling another amazing season ahead.

Here’s hoping Dzeko gets a huge offer somewhere. Saudi Arabia is doling out big money right now and Dzeko is still a decent player if he’s not run into the ground with too many minutes.
