What a bunch of complete drivel.None of those guys scored that tally in a top league before, Sørloth had failed in basically all major league he ever sat foot in, he came from 12 goal season in Socidad the first and only time he showed just a little, the previous he made 4! That’s why Inter and others had no interest in the lad because he had previously not shown much. Dovbyk never sat foot in a major legue at that point, he only showed something at that point in a league in a war plagued country and in the Danish league for 6 months.
Such would go completely unnoticed and be of no interest to teams like Inter
Dovbuk scored 29 goals total for DNIPRO last season for christ sake.
By your logic, no players from lower leagues would ever make it to the big ones and to the big teams, since they all "would go completely unnoticed and be of no interest to teams like Inter".
Its called scouting, recognizing talent and transfer risk assessment. All things Inter suck at, hence why they take the "old and experienced" route more often than not. You dont need to be a scouting talent guru to take that road.
Getting two old and experienced 3rd/4th forwards last summer was always a terrible idea. Sanchez made sense, Arnautovic did not in any universe make sense and was always going to be a waste of money with no return value.
