Hakimi is a player with certain strengths and certain weaknesses. He's a defensive liability in a back 4, he isn't a creator, he isn't a great dribbler or a great crosser. Instead he's super fast and he can exploit open spaces behind the back of the defenders. If you ask him to do things he can't of course he will look terrible. In the right system he looks like one of the best wingbacks in Europe.
Also people were complaining about the price but selling Hakimi for 66m looks pretty good right now from a financial perspective.
