About Veron vs Dinho, I don't think it's fair since they are different. But the Veron of Lazio was freaking unbelievable. Had he stayed with Lazio or moved to Inter then (he had the chance) maybe he'd be as effective as Dinho, and this comes from a big Veron critic.

but there is BIG difference between : playing for football , and playing to win

I don't think it's that ridiculous to compare Ronaldinho and Veron, maybe this is not the appropriate place for it.

I agree somewhat with Adnan, but not fully. I think Ronaldinho is the best player on the planet, but he isn't the most complete, or all-rounded, that is Totti.

Also, the Veron of Lazio and even Parma was so complete. He was like a coach on the pitch, and I remember some commentator even saying this. He used to defend well, start plays, and score crackers of goals. He was more complete than Ronaldinho is right now, and he was roughly the same age back then.

Also, he faced some adverstities with the Passport scandal, he was almost banned for a year or so, that is why he wanted to leave Italy in the first place.

I agree too, Totti is better than Ronaldinho. It's just that Totti stays in Roma for his whole life, and that made him not as good as Ronaldinho. (And his attitude of course, spitting on players on the field just isn't forgivable.)
