Udinese have shot down yet another report that they had finally accepted an offer from Barcelona for Alexis Sanchez.

Stories coming out of Spain had claimed that a compromise had been reached over the Chilean’s transfer fee.

“We’ve heard these types of stories before this summer,” Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini told TMW on Tuesday.

“I’ve had lots of Spanish journalists call me today, but I can’t confirm the rumour,” he continued.

“I have a meeting with the club later tonight and we’ll see what happens. When something is agreed then it will be up to them to break the news.

“I don’t know when a deal can be confirmed. These types of operations take time and Sanchez is on international duty at the Copa America.

“At the moment, there is no need to immediately resolve the situation. We’ll see what happens.”

Barca are understood to have formulated an offer worth €40m, but the Italian outfit are hoping to get €50m for the attacker.

Again I think tomorrow some Udinese sidey guy will come and say we arent close to an agreement, our price is 50m and they are offering 40.

That's a lot of money. I doubt it Inter spend that much on one player. That said, I would love to see Sanchez in black and blue colors.
