I have yet to see Pereira to function in any role.
There is big difference. As a LB, you have space in front of you to run into. A LB usually builds up pace much deeper and has some momentum to take on players, this happens much later for a LWB. Not to mention that a LB will have some overlapping options with a midfielder or winger ahead of him. The LWB doesn't have too many options to combine with.
IMO, left back, left wing back, left midfield, left winger all require different characteristics. While some players can function in multiple such roles, not all can.

The crossing is imo Stramas idea, he always tries low crosses. We dont have jumpers in the team anyway

I've seen them only in cups, south american and world cups. Not in friendlies and qualification. Pereira at Porto offered pretty much everything, great crosses for Falcao, great off the ball movement, and so on.
Gargano at Napoli too, he was great, rarely losing balls, and rarely misplacing passes.
Btw, if Pereira is best as LB, then what the fuck? At LB pos you are supposed to know how to defend. Pereira surely doesn't have a clue how to defend. Also if he can cross only high crosses, then what the fuck? Do we have LB who can cross only high crosses? How useful player is that?

It's like they suddenly become shit once they step a foot in Inter.
