Official: Atletico Mineiro Sign Amantino Mancini From Inter
Brazilian winger Amantino Mancini has left Inter for Atletico Mineiro.

Brazilian outfit Atletico Mineiro have completed the transfer of experienced winger Amantino Mancini from Serie A champions Inter for an undisclosed fee.

The Alvinegro have confirmed the transfer on their official website, but didn't reveal any details about the length of Mancini's contract with Mineiro.

Mancini started his professional career with Mineiro and has also worn the jerseys of Portuguesa, Sao Caetano, Venezia, Roma, Inter and Milan over the years.

The 30-year-old attacker enjoyed his biggest successes with Roma, but failed to reproduce his best form after joining Inter in the summer of 2008. Therefore, Inter were ready to part company with Mancini if a good offer came in.

The former Brazil international will now try to relaunch his career with the club where it all started for him.

He has been excused from training since the winter break though. Like I said a couple weeks back, the rumor is that he just stayed in Brazil after the break and he is currently working on deal to keep him there. Still won't be completely satisfied till a permanent deal is announced on our website...

We sometimes take time removing guys and announcing deals. I remember newcastle had announced and emre had been trying with them for about 5 days before we removed him and announced a deal.

Also it is very unusual for a player that is not recovering from a long term injury to be granted leave at this time. I think its basicly done , just a few formalities to be done.
