Serie A giants Milan have decided to secure Brazilian midfielder Amantino Mancini on a permanent basis in the close season, according to MilanNews.it.
The 29-year-old joined the Diavoli on a six-month loan deal from city rivals Inter last January.
Club President Silvio Berlusconi openly questioned the move, insisting that Milan’s priority was to sign a new striker.
But despite the ex-Roma winger making a less than impressive impact in the Rossoneri colours, managing just seven appearances in all competitions, chief executive Adriano Galliani has reportedly given a thumbs up for the deal to go through.
Milan are expected to pay Inter €3.75 million to secure Mancini’s services under the terms of their January agreement.
