Totally different players, who has seen them often, knows.

He aint creative force as Pirlo is, and he doesnt shot like him. In Poli, i see box to box tbh, hard working player, that has huge radius of movement, great technique and decent passing. He also helps the defense, can hold the ball, and so on.

Not Pirlo at all, Pirlo is slow and basis his game on pure technique and passing with vision.

Compared to our current midfielders Polis passing is godlike.

It sure is, i never said it's bad or something. Just that i dont see him as pure playmaker, as Pirlo is :)

I wouldn't mind breaking up Motta and Cambiasso to try Poli out in a central position, they are not exactly setting the world on fire.

I am watching the game vs Genoa, and there's a huge number of misplaced passes by both of them, particularly Cambiasso, who lacked composure when in possession and attempted numerous first time passes that looked more like clearances, constantly giving away possession to Genoa.

Anyway, given Ranieri's preference in rotating players every game, there's definitely a chance to see Poli in the middle in the coming games.

Cambiasso should calm down first and think, whenever he recieves a pass he usually passes it directly.. It's sometimes good and sometimes bad but he shouldnt pass like that all the time..

Hope he has a good holiday break and comes back 100% and ready to play. When Motta plays like he did against Lecce we need a back up option, who can come off the bench and contribute.

Poli is more like Motta than Cambiasso- anytime the game is safe or Motta is playing poorly he should be brought on. A bit of competition might make Motta raise his game, like when he had Stankovic breathing down his neck during 09-10.

Plus, Motta is making whispers about wanting an extended contract. If we can replace him with Poli, this summer will be our last opportunity to make some money.

Motta is too injury prone. But this is off topic i guess.

I think he is a mix of all the players you just mentioned, he has the ability to become an Inter and Italian legend, especially if you take his age into consideration. He is a hard tackler, very quick, great vision and has exceptional technique. He has been injured for most of the season, give him some time to form some chemistry and i think everyone will want him to be a deff starter.

Didn't really like what I saw from the half an hour he was on. I'm not going to be harsh and say he stinks, because he doesn't. But this particular performance did not impress.

Showed his small club mentality in doing a lot of ball chasing and giving away balls that should have been simple passes. Shame he cant start and adjust..but I guess that is what Coppa Italia is for.

He was disappointing today through we shouldn't judge after a 30min performance.

From what I saw today and against Genoa, he seemed more mobile and physical, but far less articulate and technical on the ball than he was at Sampdoria. Of course neither of these were full matches and there are a host of other reasons why not to judge so I won't comment further.

I don't like his hair. Looks like a white person afro.

He still displayed better technical abilities than Cambiasso and more composure on the ball.

I felt that the flow of our game was slightly improved after the introduction of Poli, with more one or two touch passes by him and Motta. However, that could just be because Parma have already given up pressing up at that point of the game.
