Have you ever even seen any of the 3 youth midfielders play? Romano is the closest to Poli, but he's nowhere near as good. I'd love to see what Romano did with no time and space on the ball.
Duncan and Poli are completely different players. Even comparing them is retarded. Duncan is still, however, a level below. But he's encouraging at least.

Crisetig is also a completely different style of player, his range of passing is better but he's not as dynamic (in my opinion) or as good in the link up between defence and attack... And come on you're comparing a guy with 3 caps all in friendlies for Italy U21 to a guy who managed 13 caps for them?

A CM is the FIRST THING WE NEED RIGHT NOW. With Poli leaving, we even need 2. If we're going to use the 4321 then we'd be fucked without a CM. Who do we have? Cambiasso has declined but he's still kinda decent, Guarin is pretty good and...Obi is a good backup. Stankovic sucks and Duncan will be loaned. But nah, we don't need CM's.


Let's just get Mudingayi and be done with it. If our midfield is (barely) average then the best thing to do is buy more average players. Right?


I don't even like Poli that much, but if we spend 3 mil on fucking Mudingayi instead of, what, 5-6 mil on Poli I'll give up.
