I think Rano is not ready to usurp Lucio's and Samuel's throne just yet. We've seen lots of talent from this guy but it doesn't seem to me that he has the experience, nor the domination to stamp his authority on the pitch ala those two. Still, it's foolish to say that Rano wasn't a good purchase. It's just unfortunate that Lucio was suspended and Samuel is injured so Rano had to, uncomfortably just 3 months after signing for us, step up and be the main central defender for Inter in our biggest league match in a decade and then, in a CL match right after the debacle.
