And.... I didnt get to see the game, would like to read legit posts on how Fiorentina dominated so much.

Imo it was because from the beginning we gave away the ball to them. They have 4 midfielders with amazing technique, who can create something from nothing, specially Pizarro and Borja Valero.

In addition, we had 1 pure DM (Cambiasso) who played in the right. Kuzmanovic was meant to be the guy who give the balance but he did nothing but being a ghost, making the CB's task even more harder. If Ranocchia and JJ had headaches handling with Jovetic, well, it was worse because he had no support from the midfield.

The funniest thing was that we wanted to counter but there was no link whatsoever between the midfield and the strikers.

To summarize, we gave stupidly gave posession to 4 dudes who outclassed us.

Ffs, I thanked 4 Neonblade posts in a row.

That's how bad it is.

And? We don't have the players to play that formation. I could care less what system Fiorentina play. I care about finding the best module for the personnel we have available and it's not a 3-5-2.

This game did not have to go the way it did today. Honestly who would have started a different squad today?

Strama played the formation and players I wanted except Guarin and Kova was in the wrong position and Kuzman and Cuchu were in the wrong places. I also wanted to start Schelotto over Naga because I wanted his height back there.

No one expected this. Fiorentina has been terrible mostly, the fault Strama made was not realising what was occuring and made stitches to the team when he could. The second goal is what really murdered us. If we had went into half time one goal behind and we switched to a 4-4-2 to stop them from having so many 3-on1s outwide maybe we could've clawed our way back in.....

Moratti needs to keep his cool after a game like this.....

Nice post, but I have to completely disagree about Schelotto. The guy has never been a fullback so there is no way he should be starting there with us. Nagatomo who is a far superior defender struggled today, not because of his height but because he had no support from the players in front of him. In the long run as long as Nagatomo has a defensive midfielder who can help him on his side of the field he should suffice, but sadly I don't think JZ is good enough defensively on his side without defensive support either so we're in a bit of a pickle.

My biggest question of Strama today is why did so much of our play bypass the midfield considering he went out of his way to play two ball-playing midfielders plus Guarin. We had more technical quality on the field than Viola today which doesn't happen very often yet our style would have suggested that we were playing three DMs and 3 wingbacks.

Weird how things and opinions change. When he came in last season he completely revolutionised Inter and got you brilliant sequence of results and for the early stages of the season beat Juve away from home and everyone thought he could possibly inspire Inter to a title challenge but now the way things have taken a turn for the worse. I like many others don't understand why he plays Kovacic in the CM role.

Because Kovačič IS a CM. He plays there better than at AM position. However, he is not a DM.

5 pts from 5 games in Seria A and that is against the teams like Siena, Torino. He should go at the end of the season period, i would say he should go right now if there are serious coaches out there who are available. But either we end up in top 3 witch realistically isn't possible from what we saw since Jube game finding top coach is priority now even bigger then that forwards.

He should be fined for just saying that, shit group, and this is Inter, if layers are tired you're doing it wrong. Go coach SIena, no EL there, I guarantee

a year was wasted, we play same depressing shit, not true Inter :palm:, when more than half games are bad, then thats true Inter.

No matter what players we buy its always counterattacks we play, Roma, Milan, jube, Napoli, Viola, all we counter attack, then we struggle against shit teams , and shit teams are 70% of this league

In 2009/10 Inter played every 3-4 days since January till the end of May, and we still won everything. Don't talk shit to us Starma, we arn't idiots.

Indeed. Why would you fucking play our best squad in EL if you think it will harm our chances getting a CL spot??
Makes zero sense. We're not Siena, neither Fiore nor Parma. Our main goal was and always should be to play in CL, not to win some paper trophy that gives us zero profits. Lose-Lose situation with this saying for him. We shouldn't be the good child that does all the hard work for Serie A so that's not an excuse either. Cassano could barely breath after 20 minutes and that sums it up pretty much.

Big, big failure there. He won't admit he can't handle it and sack himself from the team, so we have to do it.

fuck that
Strama is playing for his career against Milan. Given how we've looked under him to date, I dont see how anyone outside of Serie B will want to hire him. Its not like he's doing really well with a bunch of shit players, but he's doing dreadfully with good players.

We get rid of Strama then what?Who do we get?

Don't get me wrong I'm all for Strama to get the sack but IF we don't have a good name to replace him then I'd rather not!

Does anybody think Baresi is ready to become a head coach?

I get the impression he isnt interested. If he was, he would probably have had it already.

Basically anyone but. Anyone who has shown an ability to create a coherent team.
