I sure remember reading reports that Strama was pro-Rocchi and pro-sale of Coutinho so thats his own doing. Poster here even said they were the right moves because thats "what the coach wanted." All can't be just blamed on Branca I mean he has his faults but is funny how easy it is just to dump the bad transfers on him.

Surely Branca won't be going out and selling players Strama still needs.

It was pretty clear Coutinho was superfluous to our squad around that time. Not sure about Rocchi, but that's a complete debacle, luckily the amount of money involved wasn't much, we can still afford to splash money on these types of transfers.

Just need to emphasize, it's not Rocchi who's the debacle, but it's our failure to utilize him after purchasing him that's the fiasco of our transfer strategy.

Tottenham didn't really show up yesterday, that is worth remembering. No Bale, and didn't use Lennon till later in the game.

But it was a great showing by Inter, and a good night for Strama. I feel our biggest problem is lack of squad depth, and that our players are either too young or too old at the moment. One can be addressed with time (our squad maturing) but the other has to be set right in the transfer market. We have some surplus players, Chivu, Stankovic, Jonathan, at the top of the list, but no one else should be sold.

Definitely not any more of our young prospects, the likes of Crisetig or Bardi. We need to hold on to Kovacic. A lot will be expected of Pereira, Nagatomo, Alvarez, Schelotto, Benassi, Juan Jesus and Mbaye.

Kuzmanovic.... Will have to prove he is worthy of his pay cheque. Even Alvarez is more use at the moment ;)

Mourinho wanted Quaresma and Mancini. That's why there have to be a transfer mercato team who knows what the team needs now and also in the future. The coach should concentrate on tactics and winning the games.

A). It is also worth remembering that Inter did not show up a week ago in London. That was evident from the 4-1 thrashing at home yesterday in which we did show up.

B.) We were missing Milito, our Bale, who has staked his claim within this club and written history for us. A history that-- at this point in his career-- Bale can only dream of aspiring towards. By this I don't mean to create a direct comparison between Bale and Milito, rather it is meant to point out the fact that our star player (which he is) is out with a potentially career-ending injury and it pisses me off that the English commentators covering the game last night failed to point this out in relation to their constant claims that "if Bale was playing it might have been a different game". As for Lennon, he came on as sub and was pit against a 39 year old Zanetti who had already played some 60 mins more than him. Despite that, Lennon was neatly folded and placed into Zanetti's pocket.

Not trying to antagonize here, I just don't think credit should be taken away from our players performance considering their display. Until the next game where we lose or play terribly, I will respect this win and the players who provided it. Even Jonathan as I felt he had a good game and showed heart.

Your dame right, English commentators dont like other leagues then there, they didnt have even background story, how inter have one all season and for that i am a bit tired of it, Compare to Russian commentators they always do talk both sides of the teams explains how good players are on the pitch and not only about inter as well Spurs. At the end English commentators like to glow about there star players and not others.

Dude, if I were in Strama's place, I would also publicly agree to every transfer and ensure that the media thinks I am in complete sync with Branca & Co. That's the smart thing to do, since Strama does not have the stature of a Mourinho. If I have a disagreement about a transfer, I would speak to Branca & Moratti privately.

I am not saying that Branca is at fault for everything, I am just saying that we don't know for sure who is pro-what. That said, I think its safe to assume that Strama broadly agreed with Inter's strategy in the last window to raise funds by trying to sell Alvarez, and if that fails, then sell Coutinho. Funds that were required to bolster the midfield. And to be honest, I don't think that was a bad strategy. Whether we implemented it well, that is debatable.

They are bad, the commentators on fsc(fox is :derp:) called every player in inter gargano or chivu, besides zanetti and cassano.

Ranocchia
Ivan Cordoba: We are all behind Ranieri (29 Feb 2012)

The Colombian defender has lent his support to the under-fire coach and urged the team to get back to winning ways in order to salvage the season

Inter defender Ivan Cordoba has leapt to the defence of Claudio Ranieri, insisting that the beleaguered coach has the backing of the entire squad.

The 60-year-old's job is believed to be under threat after a six-game winless run in Serie A has left the Nerazzurri languishing in seventh spot, nine points off the Champions League qualification places.

"This is a difficult moment, but we must be united and do our talking on the field," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We are all with the coach, we are working with him to improve our situation.

"We want to win again, and do it in a way to revive our season to finish the campaign in a completely different way."

Inter president Massimo Moratti seemingly gave Ranieri a vote of confidence on Tuesday, saying he had 'cleared things up' with the coach.

However, fresh speculation suggests that the Inter chief is on the lookout for a new coach already, with Chelsea's Andre Villas-Boas reportedly at the top of his list.

Ranocchia: Inter fully behind Stramaccioni(16 Mar 2013)

The defender has made it clear that the team want their coach to stay put as they are gunning for third spot in the table

Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia has stressed that head coach Andrea Stramaccioni can count on the full support of his players.

The 37-year-old has come under fire in recent weeks following the Nerazzurri's disappointing performances in 2013, but Ranocchia has insisted the team is still behind Stramaccioni.

"The squad are with Stramaccioni just like we've always been. You go through rough patches, that's inevitable, but we're all united and that's how we move forward," Ranocchia told Sky Sport 24.

The centre-back then went on to say that Inter are desperate to finish in the top three and qualify for next year's edition of the Champions League.

"We really must qualify for the Champions League. Third place? There are a number of sides in the hunt, we'll keep fighting until the end. Third position is fundamental for all of us."

The Giuseppe Meazza side currently sit fifth in Serie A.
