I can see it now, as we all rejoice the departure of conte and the subsequent hire of allegri this season, strama goes on to have a great year or two at udine. Then he goes to juve and bosses for 15 years :')

Still laughing at the memory of people calling him a genius because he beat Juve once.

I actually thought he made lots of tactical mistakes that game. I called him a genius for his work in the games before that one.

Never called him genius, but he IS very talented manager. But very inexperienced, Inter was too big for him. Should have never accepted that job, but instead needed to go in lesser team.

The media ate him alive, fans ate him alive, injuries fucked him up badly, some of the players too... He has made some mistakes, but he was not as bad as some claimed he was. I would like to see Mazzarri play with Rocchi as his CF, without 5-6 of his starters and best players.

sure, and don't forget he came here in MM lasts year. He had no more motivation to invest, and don't forget the Sneijder story

I don't follow Udinese, but media reports he will use a 3 man defence.

Udinese lost first friendly 3-2 against some random team. Letting in some slop goals.

Notes:

1. Di Natale still class, scored both goals.
2. Muriel looks horribly over weight

look, I like the dude, but people calling him a genius even tho he did nothing special, he was so shook for his job that he constantly played the same players, overusing them, injuring them in the process

maybe he will become a genius, but you don't call Einstein when he was 3, a genius

Yes he did, even tho his formation is using 3 men defense. But yeah, in Europe or when they needed to attack, they used 4 men defense.

Or maybe there was more going on behind the scenes then we'll ever know. Could have been that Moratti had already picked out Thohir as the new owner and was speaking with him about what coach he wanted. Perhaps Mazzarri is actually Thohir's man.

Pure speculation.

Werent we still trying to force through the Chinese investors at the time? I didnt hear anything about Thohir until after Strama was fired.

Anyway

Strama was fired because he was not good enough. There might have been other aspects, too, but fundamentally, he was a shit manager.

Moratti wasn't the one who brought Mazzarri here, but Thohir, even before he was boss here. Maybe.

Who knows.

It doesn't matter tho, I think Thohir wants a more experienced coach in any case.

I read some where Mazzari was not aware of Morrati selling Inter ... very strange eh...
