Does he also count as home grown? There is no way he leaves this summer, can't see it

Of course he does. He's taking one of the 8 home grown spots, 4 of which should be club grown as well.

Candreva as part of the roster is just fine. Hopefully Hakimi doesn't leave room for him to be a candidate for starting games, but we've seen Gagliardini pull it off against better players

It is a strange case with Candreva. On one hand, this was his best season with Inter or at least matched with his previous best season. Conte knows how to use his talents and mask most of his failings.

But I still feel he is extremely unreliable and unconsistent. We might keep him just in case so that we don't have to play D'ambrosio as a RWB when Hakimi isn't playing.

We are probably not getting Lazaro back and not buying Moses, even tho I feel Moses >>> Candreva.

So what is better? Having Candreva on the bench or a primavera player? We also have D'ambrosio and Young that can play on the right side.

We also have that young Greek kid coming in

Candreva is association trained but those are not problem for us anymore. We have Barella, Sensi, Ranocchia, Bastoni, D'Ambrosio who are association trained also. And we need only 4 of then. Club trained quota is the problem for us.

Candreva is going to stay because he is italian. If he was brazilian or argentinian, everybody, including the fans and the journalists would have pushed him out of the club since his first season with us, just another Bidone d'Oro. Same with Gagliardini for instance.
The fact that even D'ambrosio who is more of a fullback/center back is better than him as a wing back says it all for me. He is crap but he is italian so he is a "team player".

In a perfect world, Moses would stay whie Candreva would be shipped at Fiorentina or Verona as a sub for when Lirola and Faraoni are tired.

This feels like the longest we've gone without playing Candreva in years.

How is it that Candreva is now behind D'ambrosio, Moses and even Young as RWB, we have Hakimi coming and somehow there is absolutely no mercato news about kicking him out?

Inter is such a weird club...

i think that the only one that can be with us next year is Sensi... I doubt Candreva will play again with us next year, having bought Hakimi. D'Ambrosio is a jolly that can play as Hakimk substitute, as he've shown in the last matches

Agreed, I can't understand why people want us to buy Sensi. We should stay away from injury-prone players especially players that aint as proven as Sanchez.

It's also true that in the season beginning Sensi was fantastic... I don't know if he is really so weak from a injury point of view or this was just an unkindly year for him.

But i think that there was such a gentlment agreeement with Sassuolo last year in order to get him with loan with the promise to buy him this summer... So, if we'll confirm him i will not kill myself :p

What do you think about Candreva's future in Inter? I think that he will be the Hakimi substitute next season and i approve it.

I am not so sure. He could even be the third option. In Europa League he had fallen behind D'Ambrosio and Moses in the pecking order.

Candreva was fine at the start of the season and then as the season went he just got worse and became our 3rd RWB. That's the role he'll probably have next year as well, if we assume Hakimi and Dambrosio will be our first two options. I also wouldn't be against having Moses, but his contract is up the next year so chances of loaning him are pretty much very low.

I think that the final EL matches don't matter... Gagliardini has been a starter in all games, i don't think he will be a starter next season. I mean that Candreva hasn't played last matches because Conte has found the team balance with those players (D'Ambrosio etc...).

Moses fortunaltely will leave us and D'Ambrosio i think that will play as RCB substitute next year. It also depends on what match we have to play anyway.

According to Sky, Napoli are interested in Candreva and they have already contacted his agent. Rino Gattuso, uno di noi!
