While i want candreva replaced and think he sucked pretty bad this season i kind of understand the logic behind keeping him for next season unless we get politano.
If we sell candreva and only get Malcom to replace him we re taking a pretty big risk. Cause no matter how bad Candreva was one thing is sure we made CL with him as a starter. If we get rid of him and Malcom flops ala Mancini/Quaresma/Dalbert we are fucked since Karamho is not ready to be a starter for this team and we dont know if Lautaro could work as a RF or some variation of it.

Dont get me wrong if we get a decent offer for candreva that gives us a profit we should jump at it but i do understand not forcing him out at all costs.

You have a point since Candreva has indeed had his contributions to our achievement of CL football but honestly I don't want him here if we are about to build a competitive team (which is already happening considering our management's moves in transfer market). Its getting difficult to get a quality player with a reasonable price without overpaying nowadays in transfer market, especially its even harder when you have a limited budget.

It would be nice to get rid of him and get someone else who is able to bring an immediate impact in our game. We had enough of inconsistency and lack of good games last season. Both of Candreva and Perisic were garbage although the latter one had stats on his side to save his life.

Though I would love to have Chiesa here as he is a creative player and also pretty young, but on a side note he is also way too overpriced so I don't even know what would have been the best solution replacing Candreva, of course I mean by a reasonable deal.

Antonio Candreva’s contract extension with Inter is “a formality. He will not be leaving, he’ll renew and stay with Inter.”

The winger had been linked with a transfer abroad to the Premier League, or even across the city to local rivals Milan in an exchange deal with Suso.

“The contract extension is a formality. It’s not official yet, but it will be soon,” agent Federico Pastorello told reporters as he left the Inter HQ.

I want him to stay as a back-up now that we will play on 3 different fronts. We need depth and Karamoh, as much as I like him, is not experienced enough to be our option from the bench in more important matches.

I am not bothered that he didn't score with us last season. I am more annoyed when we were in full counter mode and he would stop and pass back to the midfielder or overshot the cross. But still think he was quite useful, I like that he backtracks and helps the defense and can start the counters.

With that being said though, we need real starter who is in top form for the RW.
