Lol, your first comment was that Cassano has more goals than Palacio and you were proven wrong. Next, you bring up the Sassuolo game to show why Palacio has more goals than Cassano (although, they both scored 1 against that team) and once again you are proven wrong. Then, you start to bring up the last 3 games only. So if next week Palacio scores and Cassano doesn't, does that mean Palacio is better or is it still the last 3 games that count (Why 3 anyway?)

well what does palacio does for us now tell me because if mazzarri keept casano we would not waiste money and we would play him and now what we have to show is cassano in parma palacio playing and a guy that we got in trade for cassano is on the bench playing last 5 minutes. if this is wht mazzari vision is he will gtfo soon. because playing retards like guarin game after game without anything to show for is not acceptable reason i say guarin is because that is cassano position and on top of that cf in belfodil is sitting on the bench. talent players are sitting on the bench or are being sold and tallenless fucks are playing so again if this is mazzari vision he will GTFO soon

well what does palacio does for us now tell me

His finishing is quite strong tbh. His heading technique is exceptional, and his positioning is also not half bad. His passing ability is superb, and he has a keen eye for an assist; not to mention he can cross the ball quite well (games against Catania and Tottenham come to mind tbh). Recently he's also been offering some defensive contribution, especially on international duty with Argentina.

But what makes Palacio so effective is his CONSISTENCY. Last season he shined despite our evident lack of tactics, and the mediocrity in the starting lineup (Gargano, Schelotto, Rocchi etc).

Compare that with Cassano who was terribly inconsistent last year, regardless of his obvious talent.

because if mazzarri keept casano we would not waist money and we would play him and now what we have to show is cassano in parma palacio playing

Please explain why it was a mistake to sell Cassano.

His work rate is shit; consider that he can't last a full 90 minutes. Not to mention he doesn't fit into our squad under Mazzarri's tactics. Realize that Sampdoria's attack was BUILT around Cassano; the strategy was essentially to take back possession, and get it to Cassano as fast as possible on the counter attack. Ffs Palombo was even played in the CAM role, demonstrating the lack of creative or offensive ability in the midfield.

Contrast that reality with a current Inter BUILT around the CMs and WBs. With a striker like Palacio, the key is for our midfield to be creating chances and ALSO finishing them (especially when Alvarez is on the pitch, considering that his role is to link up with the midfield)

IF we pursue new recruits for the SS position (relatively unnecessary), I'd like for us to go for someone who can link up well, but can also pose a direct goalscoring and creative threat in the midfield (to provide a sort of juxtaposition in role with Alvarez). Gaston Ramirez was an option I previously raised, but I'm starting to like Roberto Firmino of Hoffenheim more and more tbh.

and a guy that will got in trade for cassano is on the bench playing last 5 minutes. if this is wht mazzari vision is he will gtfo soon.
I don't think that Cassano weighs into the Belfodil argument.

Lets assume the following outrageous propositions:

  • Belfodil is absolute shit and 35 years old
  • Cassano is world class and 21 years old
  • We traded Cassano to Parma for Belfodil

Taking all of that into consideration, does it somehow justify playing Belfodil in the starting XI?

Another example would be the Cannavaro-Carini exchange. Because Cannavaro was WC at Juventus, does that somehow justify why we should've started Carini ahead of Toldo, despite the glaring differential in quality?

Absolutely not.

Nonetheless, I do agree that Mazzarri's apparent neglect of Belfodil is startling and disappointing, not to mention we've adopted an undeniably one-dimensional tactical approach in the last few matches. I DEFINITELY don't see us contending for CL qualification with this kind of form tbh. However, a sacking would ONLY be somewhat justified if we give Mazzarri some more time, and also if we manage to attain the services of a TOP class manager (Montella, Pellegrini etc).

talent players are sitting on the bench or are being sold and tallenless fucks are playing so again if this is mazzari vision he will GTFO soon

This kind of trigger happy mentality (from "Mazzarri is an Inter legend" to "he must GTFO") has been a MASSIVE problem with both the club and the fans in the past few years (Coutinho, Pirlo, Bonucci, and Pizarro have all been notable victims of such a misguided philosophy)

3 months is NOT enough to judge a manager (remember Strama's tenure in the later stages of the 2011-12 season).

I wouldn't be surprised that IF we thrash Parma in the next match, we'll be seeing a lot of "good job Mazzarri"-like comments here, even if the team performs like shit.

Performance, integrating youth > Results

When you use ad hominem arguments, the only thing it reflects upon yourself is your insecurity with your own arguments.

And no offence, but I highly doubt you're a genius, considering the number of plainly shocking and idiotic comments you've been making on the forum.

Remember, there's a BIG difference between an argument and an assertion. ;)

So, what? I'm not allowed to comment on football unless I'm a professional footballer?

This is a football forum, and I post my opinion and analysis of various aspects of the game. People are welcome to consider that as they wish - but the content is the only thing that is important, not the context. It doesn't matter if I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair, my opinions are just as valid as yours - unless you can *explain* why I'm wrong on something... Sorry if I don't consider the opinion of a coked up failed English youth player to be the golden standard of football understanding - at least I never TRIED to be good at football.

Jose Mourinho and Zdenek Zeman are football experts, and yet they hardly had accomplished careers as players.

Credibility becomes meaningless with the level of anonymity of an internet forum. EVEN if you were Lionel Messi, how would anyone know? If, say, Luca Caldirola registered on FIF, would he be able to say "I played at Inter, so stfu etc"? Should his reasoning be automatically accepted?

Likewise, is it wrong to say Guarin is shit at AM/SS and that the employed tactics are quite poor, simply because Mazzarri has experience in coaching?

Everything comes down to the quality of your reasoning/logic, and imo it doesn't seem to high for yourself tbh. Not to mention it isn't much of an honour to be a failed youth player .

Actually, I tend to find that the people who have played professionally or semi-professionally (and always make sure to remind you of it) have the worst contributions, whether it's a forum or trying to run a team. Probably because they focus too much on which players are skillful and not enough on how to actually get the team playing.

well again what does guarin give us nothing what would cassano give us is outlet creativity. somebody said here his work ethic is shit well cambiaso work ethic is shit but we don't see it because taider is runnig for two and cambiasso is pointing fingers where players should go. pirlo work ethicks is shit , totti's is shit i can go on and on. so mazzari vision for inter is play few talent less players all the time just because they can run and kick the ball up the field or to the fans. if that is his vision then he will GTFO soon
