Now we have Cassano. For the majoirty of the summer, the rumours are not coming from our management, not coming from the media, nor coming from the player himself. Instead, it has come from some cult figure named Diegus and his legion of minions who spread the word like it's Christmas cheer.

Like 90% of Inter fans, I would love Antonio to join us...but let's be realistic here...

Actually the media has linked him on and off for the whole summer. There has been stronger rumors about him then lucio for instance.

Also for the record Diegus has never said cassano is coming. It has mainly been overclass's source and a poster named newage 20 at interfans.org.

I decided to keep the thread open because the forwards section discussion has mainly centered around cassano anyway.

Okay, it might be right to keep this open, like Stefan argued it (it's only Cassano talked in forward rumors). But let's face it, it's been only speculation over Cassano by the media. The only concrete rumor was some day back in May or early-June ? Now it's just this speculation that Cassano is best fit for Inter after Zlatan departure and so on.

But that Marotta rumor can be connected to Cassano. Even if he denies it, which he actually didn't do. He said he was there "for the business".

It is really not up to Samp...they set a pretty low release clause, so if Inter is willing to spend, he will be our player.
