352 is the way to go if we ain’t gonna fire him anytime soon.

Unfortunately Eriksen is as good as gone now....I just hope we can replace him with a good player not some old shit.

Man, that playing at the back. At least the team played with urgency in the 2nd half throughout and he got the subs right and on time. Good job.

We were perfect today in the first 30 mins. Then everything just fell apart and the opponent managed create chances left and right, eventually we conceded.

We still have a lot of work to be done with the team defending. It's fucking atrocious. I'm personally getting fed up to this situation where we've been with this coach, team, setup for 1,5 years and they still cannot function as a team when defending. And all the giveaways in the midfield are always the world's biggest surprise to our players and they are caught offguard so heavily it makes me sick.

Nevertheless, great win and a first one in CL for an year.

having our cb's and wb's pass the ball around dangerously close to our own goal while being pressed by the other team is a team trait that just needs to go

Never seen a defensive team pretend to play tiki taka before. I appreciate the effort but no thanks, it looks awkward.

Actually I like it but the execution is rather poor at this stage. We should have other option when being under high press, not only long balls to Lukaku. The problem is that our players struggle to pull off 4-5 passes in a row under pressure. It's maybe due to poor whole team movement or just personal quality.
We also need to improve the control in the middle because we getting exposed badly when lost the ball there.

The struggle is there when team mates don't help the ball carrier enough. When we are high-pressed, our players should be moving a lot. Two guys to offer passing option to the ball carrier but ALSO other players have to move simultaneously to offer the passing option to the next guy who's receiving the ball from the initial ball carrier. This latter thing is what we are lacking as an automated movemenet which makes it impossible for us to retain ball control in high-press situations.

And yeah, those giveaways in the midfield simply needs to stop. This includes pass attempts on the wing. The one where side CB passes to WB who passes a high (or medium high) ball to the attackers with one touch. If that pass fails, it's a counter-attack immediately and usually we're not even prepared for that. We need to be more prepared for the giveaways because our style of play results in giveaways. Or then we simply need to be better with our passing. That's the other alternative but I'm not sure if that's the easier route, I fee it isn't. It requires better players and they are expensive.

We need to sort our defence immediately. We won't win any shit if we keep leaking 2 goals every match. Gladbach's first goal was a concrete testament how bad is our defence. Both Skriniar and Darmian were out of sync to commit zonal or man marking. And the disallowed goal was also similary terrible. We defended with numbers and we had almost entire team to defend our penalty box yet our players were easily stretched and dragged out of position. Luckily Plea was offside, but it was a big question mark how he was completely unmarked right in front of our goal. This is a big homework for Conte to solidify our defence without dragging down our attack.

I think the fans is kinda too hard on him, and gave up too early,
we barely have any rest between EL Final, and International Duty, and boom Covid happened, and more stupid international Friendly etc
we basically forced to start Kolarov and Dumbo as CB without any preseason whatsoever

I think most of the team whos gone deep into EL/CL last season (maybe aside of sevilla), has dipped in form , even the mighty bayern lost
props to conte for he didnt throw any tantrum when the pressure is on him

I don't know how they can be so blind. It is so obvious in any match that we get overrun in the midfield. Two of our midfielders move out so wide further pushing up the WBs, that there is no one left in the middle. And that is where we lose all balls and possession.

Worse still, the opposition defenders know this space is empty and are happy to double down on our forwards whenever the long ball is played to them. More often that not, they will be able to dispossess the forwards due to sheer outnumbering. And then we are exposed to counters where there is no one left in the midfield.

This has been happening time and again. And we keep putting our defence under more pressure this way. What the fuck is Conte even thinking of! Fucking gargoyle of a coach.

While watching the game against Sassuolo, the odd/fun similarities of Conte and Trump crossed my mind.

1. Both have hair issues
2. They rule as dictators
3. Both are behaving like small children, when they cannot have it their way.
4. It is only their way or the highway.
5. Extremely narrowminded, lack of judgement / situation awareness.
6. Removing/silencing any opposition in their squad ( David Luiz, got 6 months on the bench for suggestion another approach in a Chelsea vs Roma game ).
7. They both get mad/crazy when people don't want them anymore, look at trump now, and when Conte was sacked from Chelsea.

I'm sure I've missed other similarities, please add to the list those that I have missed. Would be fun to see how long it will become :awyeah:

Conte believes that you can only win games by tackling and bringing a ruthless mentality, any other skills needed to win a game he would call fake news!

Both are proven winners, they have flaws but they win and succeed somehow ...

Trump is more like Pep in the CL after he left Barca. Get handed literally everything you want and somehow still consistently fail. I don’t know which number is higher, Trumps bankruptcies or man city’s wage bill.

Trump throws the first punch and I kinda wish Conte would do that once in a while instead of taking the first punch and passively reacting to achieve a draw.

The anti-Inter-coach bias at FIF is a bit ridiculous. Everything that goes wrong is the coach's fault, and everything good that happens is due to luck. This is not new. Perhaps its the culture Massimo Moratti made popular at this club, some fans here believe the solution to every problem is the immediate sacking of the coach.

Conte is just the latest in a long line of scapegoats at Inter. It does not matter that he is getting above par results, that never was a consideration for some people. Conte could win the Scudetto here, some FIFers would still want him sacked immediately.

Its not really a Conte bias. He just happens to be the current coach.

As long as he doesn't have a say in specific player signing, I am ok with his stay at Inter.

There's a difference between how Inter handled different coaches, and since you mentioned Conte, the guy just prefers to live by the sword, so let him die by the sword.

He was consistently moaning over many things, lacking support and everything else. He has to get responsibility when things go wrong, especially when it's purely his own fault. I hate the idea of changing coaches here and there, as I think that the key to success is consistency/continuity, but when things are broken then it's difficult to repair with someone who doesn't want a change.

Let's also not forget that Scudetto was never more than this season up for grabs, considering how terrible juve has been lately. Maybe we stand a chance to win it, but I don't see it happening as long as we keep putting ourselves into delicate moments and getting wins within a close margin in almost every match. It just doesn't work that way as a champion.
