I dont get why people support Conte act to resign and blame the mgmt. I know they made mistakes, like Steven staying in China and the salaries cut now and not last summer, but every club has difficulties. Man u want to release 10 players, Barca the same. I also dont read any rumors about big transfers or something.
This guy always does that. In Juve, In Chelsea and now here. He's like a little child that cant handle things, if things doesnt go in his way he breaks everything.
While I am pained at Zhang's inability to keep hold of Conte and continue the project, I do see your point. I haven't yet made a judgement on who takes the lions share of blame for this crisis. Like you said, Conte's past suggests that it could easily be him throwing his toys out of the pram over small issues. But Suning's recent troubles could also mean Conte had a valid reason this time. We will come to know who is to blame soon enough:
1. If Inter hire a top coach and keep hold of our team core, while reducing the wages by getting rid of the fringe players like Vidal, Young, Vecino, or even Perisic - then we know its all on Conte and his immaturity. In that case, fuck him.
2. If Inter hire a cheap coach and sell some of our stars ie if the project goes through a big downgrade, we know that its Suning and Zhang who fucked it all up. In this case, we can't blame Conte for leaving.
So far, the media has assumed its the 2nd option. The fact that we paid Conte 7m to leave also suggests this. Conte also said nice/mature words after his exit, which also suggests that this time its not like Chelsea/Juve exits. Hence so far my posts are largely critical of Suning & Zhang. But like I said, we will know soon enough who to blame.
