I don't watch anime, but I read comic books. Mostly Chinese ones, which are translated from either Japanese or Korean. Yeah.

I've got Fantasista, Yatagarasu (both soccer comics), Get Backers, Bleach, an some others without English titles.

Nope. Much better, and much more realistic compared to Tsubasa. I must admit that the story and characters are sometimes too magical, but it's comics. I will definitely recommend both books to any soccer fans. Fantasista is up to 25, and all the books are out. Yatagarasu is still at book 7, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Slam Dunk was fucking awesome. Sakuragi is one of the best manga/anime character ever. :D

I don't really like anime btw; I prefer its original manga form. The biggest reason is that anime tends to lengthen what should have been a short scene because they'd like to keep a healthy distance with the manga. It's a stupid move; if that's the case, they should have just come out with the anime every fortnight instead of weekly.

Thank God somebody mentioned this all time legend. Death Note IMO was by far the best anime series I've ever seen. I am next to start Bleach, but I didnt have the time to start it yet.

Bleach is fine for the first 250 chapters of the manga (Don't know how much in anime) but afterwards it just goes into a downward spiral and never ever recover.

I've never watched Death Note anime but read the manga and it just COMPLETELY press the self-destruct button when L died. Interesting how a 28 year old Italian follows an anime though. :)

Why shouldnt I? Because I'm too old for animes? meh I'm young at heart  I dont understand your reference to being Italian either.
I've watched animes all my life, they are relaxing IMO.
