He sure is eager to be competitive. Cannot say the same for a lot of his teammates.

Get this cunt far away from our club

It's because of people like Vidal, Kolarov that I didn't and I still don't like Marotta. He just can't see that they are beyond done. They can only hurt the club but I don't expect an old brick wall like Marotta to understand.

He's a hack, but I'm so sick of these gay penalties being called on the absolute edge of the penalty area. There was no scoring opportunity, and no available teammate. Wish there was a way they could consider context before giving someone a free goal.

So no reason for Vidal to make a risky challenge.

Lol not even gagliardini has caused this many errors.

Despite the errors i think he’s been ok.
He can’t play every game tho.

If sensi is healthy he should always have play over him tho.

He has not been okay given the salary he's getting. With 6m€ net salary, one should be a player who's almost always very good when playing. A bit like Alexis Sanchez, who isn't a starter but almost whenever he's playing (from the start or from the bench) he's very good.

I think it's ok as his contract is for 2 seasons or something? It's not a burden in a long term and he provides good quality despite these stupid penalties.

I heard the Conte's interview after the match and i'm very very angry!!!

What the fuck has Vidal done to deserve a starter spot in this Inter rather than Eriksen?

We have seen only fucking mistakes from Vidal in serie A and in CL! And until now Conte has always preferred him to Eriksen!

And now Conte says that Vidal is not working professionally??? Fuck off!

Why? He should respond for this!

How long the contract is, isn't relevant when talking about current salary. It's definitely a burden that we have Vidal who's making 6m€ net while giving these penalt...performances. Like it's a burden (even bigger) that we have Eriksen who's making 7.5m€ net while not even playing.

It's the opportunity cost. We pay Vidal a lot and he doesn't play according to the money we pay to him. We could be paying that money to someone else. Or to somewheree else (transfer fee to another club + lesser salary to a player). These veteran signings of Vidal and Kolarov have been really disastrous. Only silver lining is we didn't pay anything to get Vidal (apart from the 1m€ fee if we win a trophy). If Vidal doesn't pick up his game, it just looks bad, bad signing no matter how you look at it.

When you count the stupid penalties, it looks bad but otherwise he is better the likes of Gagliardini and Vecino, who have long contracts and are difficult to get rid of and we paid trasfer fees for their shitty services on the top. His salary is bigger than theirs but as i said not so big as he came for free. Eriksen is a completely different story as we paid 20mln in addition to his huge wage.
I don't think he is so bad as some people here trying to make it but more is Conte, who is over relaying to Vidal. In my view Vidal is good short term patch same like Sanchez and Young. Good players for rotation, depth and provide experience and quality as well but not enough to be a solid starters throughout the whole season. Same happens with Young. He was rotated with Biraghi last season and looked fine. This one, he is more like starter because of failed Perisic's experiment and we see how Young is turning to a shit. The same will happen with Darmian if he becomes a starter for some reason.

In my opinion Vidal just like Godin, shaky at start and incredible at last. Especially he was forget he playing for Inter not Rube (own Referee) :yao:

I am as annoyed with Vidal as anyone for that penalty and the over-the-top agro attitude which got him that red card. He has been underperforming, we all know what he is capable of. Some of it has to do with his declining physicality, his body doesn't move as fast as his mind anymore. But largely its his attitude, I guess in part furled by the frustration of below par performances.

That said, while the criticism of the player here is justified, and the judgement on Vidal is premature. We know what he is capable of, and my guess is that once he opens his scoring for Inter, he will become a key player for us. I still have faith in Vidal coz even with all the poor performances, his work rate and effort cannot be faulted. Like magnesium said above, some may be writing off Vidal too early just like with Godin.

The most important question is why on earth is Vidal complaining about the referee to Conte in the first place? that was a clear penalty!

Reminds me of Muntari, high work rate and brainless, carried by other real football players.

Vidal has played a grand total of over 1000 minutes this season whilst getting 100% support from the coach and its too premature to judge his performances whilst it was enough to write off Christian Eriksen who unjustly got mistreated by the coach from last season with more or less the same amount of minutes. Got it.

Yes, because we have eyes. If Eriksen was putting in half the effort Vidal is, no one would have judged him. I guess this is subjective, but I have more patience for players who give their all on the pitch. Vidal needs to calm down a bit, hopefully he will find his form.

Ah I guess we should have kept candreva.

But yes I hope he does find his form because like it or not he has the same gags treatment; conte will always love him. I really hope he does get benched tomorrow though.
