De Boer made a mistake with that lineup but only an idiot would question Gasperini's tactics today (the high pressure and placing Gomez as a thorn between Nagatomo, Medel and Miranda) along with his track record against us at home where he hasn't lost since 2011. The same idiot would also disregard how Atalanta always treated this game as a derby more than Inter so their passion and phenomenal pressure was expected.
There were always 3 teams that I hated playing against in Serie A and they're: Juve, Atalanta, and Lazio who we'll be playing at Christmas this season as well.
Fiorentina is there but I always liked their theme song and colors so sue me.
Good reaction in the second half, Santon was fine before that stupid tackle, Nagatomo was skinned in the first half, Joao Mario was poor, Eder was manly redeemed by the goal, today's midfield setup doesn't work, Perisic and Brozovic exposed us in the first half with a lot of miss passes and lost balls between them.
It's good to see De Boer ease his stubbornness with Kondogbia who I hope appreciates that trust more in the future.
Sadly, it's not looking good for Frank with the media pressure, the inevitable comparisons with Montella (even though he's been coaching in Serie A for 6 years... also I want those years back), browha's "I told you so" posts, and what Keisuke Honda earlier described as the only relevant outcome in Italy and that's results so expect more reports about late night "summits" and "evaluations" in the upcoming days and weeks.
Oh and yes, I broke my FIF fasting.... see you in December.
