Yup, I don't see Pep risking Messi, either. He will only bring him on in case of an emergency, e.g. if we are trailing with 15-20 minutes to go.

At the end of the day, a draw would be a decent result for both teams. We will both still need to get a positive result on the final matchday but I think we'd both fancy our chances of doing just that.

Mourinho said Chivu will play as LB no matter is there Messi, Iniesta or Pedro against the LB. So that's it with Zanetti being LB. I'm not too comfortable with Zanetti in midfield against fast Barcelona midfielders. But positive aspect he brings is that at least there's 100% cover for Maicon.

Will it go that Motta starts from the bench since I find it hard to see Mourinho dropping Stankovic. Or would he challenge Barca a bit by using Motta at the start and then introduce Stankovic later when we need fresh legs to hunt down their playmaking?

I think that motta and stankovic will both play because when asked about zanneti mou said that he is an inter legend (it sounds like he is a legend , part of the history but he won't play tomorrow.)

I hope Motta will play, he is a very underestimated player when it comes to deciding what midfielders we should play, I thought he was great against Bologna, and I think he if he plays, he will play well.

But we cannot drop Deki... So it would be Zanetti or Motta that has to go, and we all know Zanetti isn't going to be dropped.

Barca will definitely come out attacking us hard. I can see a 4-3-2-1 formation with counter attack here. Hopefully we can manage more possession with Thiago Motta, Sneijder and Dejan in MF.

You guys know how much I like you, your team, your president, your coach, Ashkan etc. but tomorrow, we really need a convincing win, or a 2-0 down, 3-2 up win with the winner scored in the 93rd minute or any other win that is moral boosting and gives us calm and confidence ahead of the Madrid game.

It's nothing personal, it's strictly business and I still hope that we find a way to play the final in the Bernabeu and dance together in Madrid or even if we don't make it, I want Inter to win it(hell..any team can win it in Madrid except for Madrid but I would be most happy for Inter after for Barca).

Eff it...I just want us two to get through...by any means necessary!

That won't happen. At least Fontas won't play. He won't throw in a youth player in that important game, he is just a backup if push comes to shovel. And he called up Jonathan Dos Santos...not his brother. LOOL

Yeah, slip on JDS vs GDS...However, playing a youth player is precisely the sort of thing Pep does do...As evidenced by Busquets play last season.

Fontas is the most ready of the youth defenders for prime time and the first team...If Maxwell is unable to be effective enough or is prone to errors, I am pretty sure he will slide Puyol over and bring on Fontas

JDS isn't likely to play...But we'll probably see Pedro & Jeffren

Youth player or not, I am loving the classic mind games being played by the two coaches.

I assure you Ibra, Messi and Sneijder will play some role in tomorrow nights game. This is the CL...there are no second chances, if Barca lose tomorrow, they can say hello to the Europa league, and Puyol can say all he likes about the domestic title, but it will be a failure for either team if they fail to progress into the next round.

After all is said and done, after we deliberate for hours on if any of the aforementioned trio will actually play, after we swap all our formations, all that's left is the game. Tomorrow night is what football is all about. One team trying to make their name in footballs most elite competition and the other on the verge of not being able to defend their title in the next stages. Bring it on!
