just look at their play time, both total benchwarmers

I am looking all these little things they should do and they are not doing and I'm left disappointed. This certain intelligent pressing, covering and passing seems to be lacking completely with these two kids.

this is such a facepalm post.

It's not. He may be a top 2-3 player for us, but in Europe we're still a 2nd rate team. We haven't even faced Messi, and are getting destroyed by their fullbacks in attack.

Wow, that was some shit decision from Lautaro. Keita wide open, easy pass through and he hit a weakass shot from outside.

Fucking trash impact from Lautaro. 4 on 3 with loads of space.

What the fuck.

Have to say that Camp Nou is a total nightmare to play at for away team. Even in the times of relative crisis Barca always dominates here. I am sure that we will have more opportunities at Meazza.

This is Barca without Dembele, Malcom, Umtiti and Messi. Just let that sink in. They have a system that works.

But this is good for us. We needed a (almost) shit game against a top side, so that our younger players get experience against a big side and that we realize how 'good' we actually are.

Without Messi I was expecting more, at home I hope we at least have a chance to get a result.

Ever since Martinez came in, we totally lost any type of aggressiveness in the match. I guess Valero wasn't that bad after all, just tired too fast.

Not even mad in the slightest. Squad unworthy of CL to begin with, relying on last minute blunders, horrible starting line up and no clear and concise attacking plan.

It is what it is.

Or maybe just everyone else got too tired.

Really? Is anyone really disappointed? We play Barca at their home ffs. They havent lost at their home for like 30 games, or 6 years. Did anyone actually expected more?

It's well known we are not ready for this level yet. And we lack the only player that could cope with barca's midfield, and that's Radja.

Chill. It was more than expected. I for one am not disappointed at all.

If Radja comes back for the second game, I think we can def play to win. But some players need to be at their 100% - like Perišić and Brozović - which they obviously don't have.

I feel we could have got a draw. After all, both their goals were a consequence of poor defending and we had our chances. We must learn from our mistakes and show more personality next time. They are no aliens and by no means are they unbeatable.

All in all, this defeat should not affect our self-confidence, as they definitely didn't "destroy" us.

Even the Inter of the treble lost 2 to 0 to Barcelona at the beginning of that magical season. So no sweat.

We dearly felt the absence of nainggolan in the midfield.

Also, matches like this show why spalletti wanted modric. It's not just about his technique, but also helping the teammates feel more confident when we face the likes of Barcelona.

Now on to the next one.

Exactly. It's amazing what people on the forum think. The guys are tired , 90 intense minutes on Sunday with Milan , one day more of rest for Barca. Not to mention missing a player like Radja. Stop overreacting .
