Pazzo might hit a jackpot here, with Maicon/Yuto delliveries from both wings.

Pazzini will have it fun with Sneijder&Motta behind, Maicon/Nagatomo from the wings.

I am not that convinced of his defensive capabilities though... I think Chivu is a better at defending.

Thump up. Fucking excited to see it. But if Maicon and him going forward, Motta, Cambi and Zanetti should work harder to cover them.

Does someone think of what i am thinking? Milito lose his goal scoring top form, however his passing is still very good. And Sneijder is not back yet. Why not let him playing support striker position?

to be honest milito is more of a wing player then pazzini, i think that lineup could work, milito has shown this year he can pass and move with the best of them, him as a support striker to pazzini could cause havoc. Milito still has intelligence just the finishing touch is somewhere hidden!

I am afraid both Pazzini and Milito are pure box strikers. They don't have the speed, dribbling and crossing attributes to be used in a wide position, espacially Diego. He's 31, slow and no way can play a 90 min in that position.

I would also start with the same formation.
4-3-1-2 with Coutinho behind the strikers and Pupi in the midfield to cover for Maicon.

If things don't go according to plan we can bring in Diego or even Wesley, if fit and force the attack.
With Palermo our 4-3-3 of the second half worked, but for now it remains only a emergency formation, since we are left uncovered in the defense.

What's worrying me the most is the injury of Lucio.
If it will be as long as suggested, approx. 1 month, we can be in trouble.
For the crucial month we will remain without both our main center-backs from last season.

I hope that Frog is up to it, and tbh I don't want to see Matrix again as a starter. Chivu and Frog is the best solution atm.

Other than that, I'm really excited to see our new Japanese Samurai in action.
