I didn't watch the game, but I can tell you one thing for sure. Davids didn't play in that game.

From the many people i have talked to who have watched us during the pre-season they have all told me Emre was played on the left wing in a flat 4-4-2 formation. He seems to cut alot to the middle, that was expected IMO.

Deki's on the right wing too, yes.

This flat 4 can definately workout. Davids replaces Cristiano as the DM and Veron moves to the right side where he has no problem of playing.

With this midfield the team will definately play great football though I hope they can defend well. The back 4 will be key.

It´s quite hilarious that with all the strikers we have, we seem to have only two avaliable for this game. Unless we register Eliakwu and Ventola.

But we can say almost for sure that Adriano, Vieri, Choutos and Martins won´t make it to thise game. So it would be Recoba and Cruz on top.

No. We can change the squad again in 31st August, but those players who will participate (play) in the champs league qualifying game won't be allowed to play in Champs League or Uefa Cup, if they join another team.

But I don't think playing will be a problem, coz if we have plans to off-load him, it will most probably to a team who's not playing in European Competition.

Thus, we can buy Cesar/Jankulovski later on as well.

I think we are going to sell Coco, for sure now. Cesar is coming our way unfortunately, so Coco is a goner. He's going to move to a team which would play in the CL, that's the only reason why he hasn't been called up for the Basel game.

Stanko is going to wear No 25? How odd... Anyone knows if he wore that number in the past?

If he don't play for us, he can play for Juve if they buy him before the CL squad list is submitted (this was CL qualifier squad list).

Or if I'm wrong, please correct me.
