I'm glad Andreolli got the start but Mariano and Maxwell? What's the possession for Bayern? 80%?

What's wrong with Mariano and Maxwell. Are they worse than Andreolli or something? They deserve to play too.

The possession was rather equal. Bayern at the start, we at the end. There was 4 times when I actually have to move myself from my seat...

1.) when Andreolli sliped and kicked wide of the ball
2.) when Gonzalez hit the bar
3.) when Vieira pushed van Bommel
4.) when Makaay shot wide at the end

And we see yet again how Inter plays with 4-5-1. One chance, and that from Mariano (who for some reason still get a bunch of crap amongst our fans, despite him being the only one who has created anything and playing out of position). And lesson number one to Mancini. If you are going to play with one striker, at least have the decency to play Crespo who IS a top-striker, because Zlatan isn't. He doesn't know how to move himself in order to allow spaces to our midfielders.

I'll just await for Mancini to take out Mariano (who else, ey?) and put on Recoba and see how this team transform itself into a normal football team.

We can win and get barca in the next round. I you finish first it doesn't gurantee an easy game. To win this is important for team confidence nothing else imho.

Yeah thats true, but generally we would draw an 'easier' side if we won. Dont underestimate playing the second leg at home. I think this is VERY important.
