Some numbers crunching:

If Skriniar signed the extension with us for 6M net. gross cost would have been little over 11.2M

Pavard signed for 32M over 5 years, annual amortization cost is 6.4M. With the net salary of 4M (growth decree), gross salary is 5.4M. Making the total annual cost around 11.6M.

Beppe has done it again!

Maybe this is the first time, when Marotta and Co put pressure on someone and it worked finally.

Dont forget the big fat signing fee he would be asking.

Of course the most optimal outcome would be selling him for 50 millions to psg and use the money to sign bremer. But beppe done a great job to damage control

Perhaps there is no need for the dramatic last day mercato thread. We are in it, for months.

Also i don't think Inter are looking for anyone in the market after Pavard. Perhaps if Sensi leaves they may look for a midfielder but that's a long shot right now.

I agree believe this will be our last, very happy after the start to our mercato to seal this, shame about Samardzic but hey ho.

I think Bayern have Chalobah lined up, could be wrong.

Can't wait to see the cringey video probably have him eating a baguette with German meats or something.

Don't want to be a party pooper. I rate Pavard highly, but I doubt he will be a season changing transfer. Like somebody on the previous page said: everybody is partying like signing prime Messi.

If we got Samardzic too we would definitely be no1 candidate for scudetto. We miss one creative midfielder for that. We have good midfield now but not great. Too many horses with shitty final pass.

Hell no, we are partying because the deal is done after a summer plenty of shitstorms

Then we are partying too because - IN THEORY - the frenchman is an upgrade in a position where now we have just a good old defender in Darmian.

If Pavard can play with Dumfries / Cuadrado like Bastoni plays with Dimarco, we are on, bois.
