Marotta doesn't kick them out because of technical reasons, but attitude & professionalism.
He wants to send a strong message: whoever don't want to bleed for the team, just leave.

That’s his point.

Joao Mario had multiple occasions where he behaved rather negatively.

I’m 100% sure Joao Mario and Dalbert are not part of the project it doesn’t need to be said.

Not to us Joao Mario fanboys.

I gotta say the Icardi/Radja shit was presented quite differently yesterday than in today's press conf. I don't know if it was lost in translation or it was implied from his actual words that Icardi/Radja are poor team players, but I don't feel today Marotta even implied anything like that.

If that’s the case then they have to fire the translator right now.

There are direct consequences to mistranslation, it’s not like in video games or movies where you can laugh it off and has no true bearing to revenue.

I know they are generally very careful with translation with regards to any news or public press release. So I would be very surprised we fuck that up considering Steven has pretty much perfect English.

I mean that not translations by Inter but generally in tweets or news stories where even quotes are not direct word-by-word when translations are applied.

ALL HAIL BEPPE!!!

I really wonder what he has done so far. The whole Icardi situation was piss poor managed.

And beside that? Really: What has he done great so far? We got Conte, yes. But we got him by making him the best paid manager in the league by far and one of the best paid managers in the world. We got Godin, yes. But we had to make a 33yo one of the best paid players in our team. We got Barella, yes. But it's not like he was a bargain.

And beside that? Did we get rid of Joao Mario or some other midfielder we don't want anymore? Will we make a lot of money from the Icardi transfer?

Really, I can't see anything great Moratta has done so far at this club.

To be fair, I think Conte would have never come if Marotta wasn't at Inter - even if we'd thrown even more money at him.

That being said, bringing Conte to Inter didn't require much skill or ability on Marotta's part. And yes, Marotta hasn't done anything of note to warrant the praise of the "ALL HAIL BEPPE" kind.

Ther mercato so far is well done, very clear and for reasonable prices.
And it's still not over.

If anyone watched handanovic press conference today that's what he said, between the lines obviously.

Yup, exactly. That there's some discipline in the team now.
Good.

People wanted a rock-solid guy in charge. We've got that now. What a time to be an Inter fan :fuckyea:

Can't wait to go to Meazza to watch some games this season.

Those are the same fans who've been making jokes about how inter is banter era, how we are the laughing stock of European teams, how no one takes us seriously.
Now that we brought seriousness and discipline into the club, they find something else to bitch about.
Damn you do damn you don't.

I feel the same way.
I used to go every year to watch at least couple games a season. Used to buy all the jerseys, every year, plus some other inter related merchandise. It's been about 4-5 years that i stopped buying and travelling to the games.
Seems like ill start going again and buying jerseys. Excited tbh.

I think our situation can be compared to what's going on in Arsenal at the moment with Koschienly.
Arsenal was poorly run for ages. Players running down their contract, money spent on dross and whenever a profile was sold, Arsenal only managed to get peanuts out of the transaction.
Now they've got a new management in charge which won't allow players to run down their contract, and won't cave in to a players wishes to have their contract terminated so they can go and sign a long and well-paid contract somewhere else. The first real victim of the new (and proper way of running things) just happened to be their captain, who has been a true professional during his stint at Arsenal. It sucks, but that's the way a club (and when it comes down to it - a businnes) has to be run.

It's pretty much exactly the same thing here at Inter. Poor management for years, terrible transfers and players (and wives/girlfriends) running their mouth whenever they felt like it. Suddenly Marotta joins the club, and all those issues are being corrected. Icardi might've lost value and wont be sold for as much as we though/expected (and let's be honest, nobody really knows his value as nobody triggered his release clause), but that loss will undoubtedly be regained in the future, as players won't be running around in circles around us anymore.

I'm seriously thinking of buying a shirt this season too!

You know some of them will respond like that "we are not agaisnt sale of Icardi, we just don't approve the way it's being handled, they shouldn't have stripped the captaincy publicly, they shouldn't be announcing about their wish to sell Icardi publicly and so on" but they don't realize that the situation reached the point where you can't handle it quietly anymore. Look how this couple finally shut their mouth after getting treated in the same fashion from Marotta. You keep bullshitting about potential buyers left and right, ok here you go. We are announcing it wholeheartedly "you potential buyers can buy him"

Despite me vocally opposing or at least questioning management's actions in Icardi case, I still like having Marotta-Conte tandem here. Add Oriali to the mix and we have a very good combination of managers/directors who will keep discipline in the club (squad) so that there won't grown any Icardi-like figures who are not captain material but end up being captains and starting to run the show. Running the show by the players stopped.

Agreed but you’ll also admit that this case has not been managed in a good manner by Inter.

Let the man do his job. We should remember Juventus was like us ten years ago before Beppe came and clean the house. If he can repeat the magic here, put him in LGI.
