What do you guys think of playing a 4-2-2-2? I'd like to see an Icardi-Lautaro striker partnership, not just Lautaro playing in AMC.

I know Spalletti would like to play Nainggolan in AMC but I'd prefer to see something like this. And besides, he'd still be our best midfielder in this position next to Brozovic, he makes his presence felt in midfield.

A two man midfield just won't work.

Actually a midfield of Brozo-Naingo-Vecino is a 2 man midfield.

Formation tool has always worked on every browser, PC, phone, laptop I've ever used. Never had a problem with it.

Haven't seen it actually rendering in probably a year or two :yao: on desktop and mobile (Chrome @ Windows/Android).

In that case, I would go for hard refresh after clearing cookies. Not sure if that will work, but at least give it a try if you haven't. Seems weird to me because I never had any problem with formation tool and I have been using different browsers here and there.

Looks like Asamoah has recovered and will be ready to feature tomorrow.

Cds reports the following line-up:
INTER (3-4-2-1): Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar; Vrsaljko, Vecino, Brozovic, Asamoah; Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.

On paper we have very strong attackers on the bench who can change the match course (Keita, Politano,Martinez). I am not particularly dissapointed with this line-up, cause we can always turn thing around with making correct substitutions.

That looks like shit. I would rather play with 10 men than Vecino again, and benching Politano is fucking stupid.

I am not worried. OK, probably would be better if Gags came in instead of Vecino but other than that- is the lineup really that bad? Spallo wants to continue to insist on his 3-centreback module, it's his right as he is the manager. He wants to see Nainggolan in a more attacking role, if something goes badly, Naingolan will play alongside Brozovic with Politano upfront. It's Bologna, so we have time to experiment, I am convinced that we can beat them.

What makes you sure we can beat them? In fact I’ve never been sure of beating any team in the past few years. Also, we dont have time to experiment, we already lost 5 points in two games against lower table teams. This should be unacceptable.

Like we've done the previous two games

Well, time passed, I hope that players understand each other better now and Naingolan now ready to play. It's already a different situation than last week.

No reason to be overly negative, not a constructive approach to be honest :)

Man, I've been like you before, now my approach towards match expectations has changed somewhat. I mean it's probably cool to wheel out the same narrative like "Handanovic is suffering from glaucoma, that's why he makes those stupid blunders, or Icardi is a poacher not contributing to build-up play, or our midfield is only capable to play on mid level" yadda yadda yadda, but I am kinda tired to do that again. We already lost 5 points, that's why we are changing something and introducing Naingolan. I would probably start him deeper and have Politano with Perisic, but I am not a coach.

In one thing I'm sure...we did not lose points against Torino cause of formation. Its not even cause of Vecino in starting lineup. Its cause of Handanovic blackout, mental instability and lack of reaction from the bench in the right time. So,get your shit together and win the fucking game.

Ugh, just play 4-2-3-1, or even better 4-3-3, especially against these weaker sides. Unfortunately Spalletti has an aversion to 4-3-3, which I think could now well suit us.

Although, as aforementioned, formations stand for nothing without grinta!

GdS and Sport Mediaset predict the same with Dalbert instead of Asamoah while Sky predicts a 4-2-3-1 with this lineup:

INTER (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Vrsaljko, Skriniar, Miranda, Dalbert; Vecino, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi

I'm good with that, just lose Vecino for Gagliardini.

Even Dalbert is better than D'Ambro at LB.
