I want win against Bologna just because what they did when they beat us (with ref thing when he shows number for sub players)

I agree Cambiasso should be rested every now and then, specially during midweek games, biut he will have 2 weeks of rest before the Bologna game, so there should be no rational to "rest" him. Maybe we can rest some players who have traveled far for International games.

Otherwise, I would start our strongest XI for this one - the only way we can make CL is if we win all games against smaller teams, so these 3 points matter as much as any other.

Bologna have been crumbling this season into tumult, and it's good to see so many of our prospects on loan competing for starting places.

Keep an eye on Rolando Bianchi, who was a regular goalscorer with Torino, and new arrival Jonathan Cristaldo in the Bolognese attack.

All that aside, I'm attracted by the possibility of a 3-4-1-2, as well as a Belfodil - Icardi strike partnership in:

Nagatomo - Guarin - Taider - Jonathan
Juan - Rolando - Hugo

Rolando imo should be best as a sweeper, given his suitability to such a role (rather than that of the ball playing CB)

Although I understand the general mood of the forum on withholding a starting berth from Belfodil and even Kovacic, I think Icardi deserves a chance, and that an interesting option could be a Palacio - Icardi duo supported by Alvarez in the CAM.

I don't think Cambiasso should start today, given his importance to the first team, as well as the high risk of injury at 33.

attackingwise, zanetti is not as good as nagatomo... but it may come handy when we play strong opponent like napoli or milan

The way Mazzarri likes his wingbacks is that when one is attacking the other one drops back to create a 4 man defense. I'm pretty sure he said this in an interview. If this is the case than he'd maybe tinker with his tactics so it's Jonathan that's constantly attacking while Zanetti goes up much less than Nagatomo does.

I've spent too much time on it, if he beats me too it I'll just add it on to his thread, however I will be trying my hardest.

Verathia, just open the thread 15 minutes before the game ends, and then claim that you live in a different universal time zone supported by Einstein`s theory of counter relatively and that the game has simply ended in your domain before it ends in our time. This way the mods will believe you, actually once they witness the magical graphics you put in your thread considering non of them knows who`s Einstein is in the first place, and they`ll allow you to open the thread after feeling intimidated by the equations that supports your case. then Coaster will have to study science so he`ll come here with a case to prove that you are wrong in court which would take him from 20-25 years.

Zanetti just got back from a 6 month injury, I don't think we should risk playing him as a starter.

I strongly dissagree. Nagatomo's only strength attacking wise is that he's small and most of the time he'll pass weak defenders on the wings due to that trait, but he's not a big deal - if there was a better replacement for him, I'm sure he'll get the bench.
JZ on the other hand is without a doubt much better (way way better) at holding he ball, making sure runs and passing better - things Nagatomo has to go through a few years like JZ to be solid at. Don't know if you saw poor Nagatomo against Livorno and their defenders dominating him like he was a mosquito.
